Erras nodded in agreement, though perhaps Genii still had a way to go on the mental maturity side of things. Up until yesterday the boy still believed Sirens hatched from eggs.
“Aedan was Genii’s father.” The Knight explained. “My King. He is no longer with us, but I am sure he would be pleased to witness Genii free the sword... though perhaps not surprised.” Erras smiled. Aedan was far from modest, and required no reason to be proud of his son.
“Hey!” Gen said goodbye to Alpha-7 and jogged back over to the group. “Shall we head back to town? Maybe we can celebrate with a nice cold b-“
“No!” Erras flipped back to grumpy so fast, his face must just be more comfortable that way.
“What!? I was going to say ‘bowl of ice cream’.” He wasn’t.
