Tapas App Update: Coins!

The new update to the Tapas App's coin menu looks AWESOME! And I love that the Free Coins has it's own menu rather then sharing one with the buyable coins. (Also right now the Crackle Ads are back if anyone is interested )

FYI, there's a known visual-bug in the Android version of the new Coin Shop / Free Coins popups at the moment... namely the button/box sizes shrink every time you watch a video to earn some coins.

Unfortunately it's not a cool feature, and we're not trying to make the buttons harder to tap every time you earn some free coins... it's just a weird layout hiccup! For now, closing and reopening the popup seems to set the layout back to normal, but we'll get it fixed properly soon.

As of now, I can only earn 10 coins per ads watched.

I'm so looking forward to having desktop ads. But right now, even the earn coins feature appears to have limited ads and/or a cool down period before they become available.

I noticed that bug the other day, hopefully it gets fixed soon.

And ooohhh yes I can't wait until Desktop ads, those are gonna be interesting :3 I wonder if it'll be set up anything like Twitch where you have to interact with it to earn your coins.

Edit: Totally didn't realize that free coins are now on Desktop... TIME TO BINGE!

I was referring to the mobile ads feature. Every now and then there appears to be issues with it. As of now, I only get a few ads each day before having to wait 24 hours for it to reappear.

Congrats if you have desktop ads available. The problem with it is that most users outside the US don't have video offers. I hope it becomes more available. It seems to have better incentives compared to mobile ads.

That might have to do with the limited ads for desktop version RN, I've only encountered one ad on the desktop and it's a COPD / ANORO ad

As for mobile, limited ads per day has always been a thing for the mobile version

Yes, it'll take some time before more users get videos for desktop ads. I have yet to get one ad for that. The incentive looks promising. Hope it becomes more available.

For mobile ads, not necessarily. It seemed that there was little to no waiting time for earning coins these past few weeks. It's only recently that there's been a lack of access or limit to how many videos you can watch daily.

Other users have been noticing it too. It helps to share our experience here since others may assume it's only happening to them unless they read about similar experiences from fellow users.

Has anyone else experienced getting a limit for ads in the mobile app? As of now, I can only earn around 100 coins before the ads disappear. I have to wait 'til the next day for them to return.

It seems a few of us is experiencing some changes with regards to mobile ads. I've read recent reviews saying they can only earn a few coins per day. If it stays like this, more users will keep leaving negative reviews and will likely uninstall the app.

Hey midzm it's really cool that you have so much coins. As for me I can't get coins at all. Every time I try to watch a video they would show that no videos are available I'm not sure if it's a bug or not. So I was wondering did you have to buy those coins or were you able to get them by watching videos?

All of those coins were earned through watching ads, though in recent times the ad watching ability has dropped considerably and I've given up trying. That screenshot was taken before my coin event to which I earned 1 million coins watching adverts and gave them all away in a create a comic contest.

I was wondering you showed a screen shot that says Earned 31 coins. How did you earn 31 coins when the ads only give 10 coins?
