True dedication right here!

I'm interesting in doing this though I don't know if my ideas will still be mine or not.

submissions@tapasmedia.co it is in the original post under the apply now, I just mention that because you may want to look at that section so you are giving them the info that they are asking for

Nooo!!! I just read this on September 9th!!! And I live in the Bay Area of California!!!
Not that I could go, though. I'm just a kid. And I have school. And I haven't published/drawn anything yet :frowning:

Hello hello!

Thanks to everyone who submitted and shared their passions with us. We are very much excited to go through all of the submissions and explore the possibilities that lie ahead. We're overwhelmed and overjoyed with the response we've gotten. Because of the immense volume of submissions that we've received, we will be taking some time before making any formal announcements pertaining to the creators selected for our first ever Tapas Incubator Program.

Also due to the number of applications submitted, we won't be able to respond to each individual submission, but will appreciate and enjoy each and every one of them. Please know that we hope to continue to do more creator focused initiatives in the near future and are always open to feedback in how we can improve and help the creator community.

We've gotten many requests to open up the Tapas Incubator Program for novelists in the future and is something that we will work towards.

We'll be closing off submissions and will not be counting any submissions sent in after Saturday at 12:00AM PST/PDT.

Thanks again for all of those that submitted a story, spread the word and most importantly are a part of the Tapas community.

I look forward to reading every submission and hope you have a great weekend.

-Michael and the Tapas Staff

Just turned in my application a few minutes ago!

Best of luck to everyone and (early) congrats to those that get an offer. Happy comic making~

When do you think the people who have submitted their applications and were accepted are going to get a return email.saying that they were accepted.

Well that's a bum. That should've been stated in the post.... I thought I was okay when I turned mine in. :slight_frown:
Now my submission wont be counted cz of the 2 hour difference! :frowning:

@Cosmic.Kisses Although they cannot give concrete dates, they did mention they're hoping to start the program some time by the end of the month. For people who have timeline issues, they offer some flexibility.

@Leohma I believe they sent out a note in our notifications/inbox stating that the deadline was 11:59PM PST. It definitely could have been included on the first post (to those who missed the note)!

This is a common confusion, 12:00AM is technically midnight. So you had until midnight on Sat the 9th of September (according to PST/PDT). If he had stated 12:00PM then that would have been midday. From the beginning they stated that you have until 9.9.17

That's written in the original post.

So as long as you submitted by 9.9.17 (according to PST/PDT) you should be fine.

And for others worrying about whether they got their submission in time, here was the official message from Tapas:

When they say midnight on Saturday, September 9th, they are referring to the minute before it becomes Sunday, September 10th, in PST (Pacific Standard Time).

@michaelson, I also wonder this, (mostly because I am literally dying over here to know if I got accepted or not) and also because my acceptance or declination determines another major life decision. Oh Goody. The suspense. ^^;

When they did the 30 Day Writing Challenge it was around a two week wait.

They could release answers in stages like: top 50, top 20, top 10 so people could get a faster answer.
