Here it is, the (hopefully) first ever Tapas event comic!

Here's the main document, feel free to submit your characters and what team they should be on (or if they're gonna be bonus guests). You're limited to two or three characters for the team rosters and 2-3 bonus characters per webcomic as well. You can also suggest story ideas and other things to help as well. Once we get the roster and everything figured out, we could then start working on the main story for it. Enjoy and have fun!

Yeah, I'll portably keep ad revenue out of it. Because it'd probably be a nightmare to sort out.

How much of a work load would I be expected to take? I am making two series and can't take on too much work.

I'm not quite sure. I also have some stuff on my plate as well (though thankfully my current comic is gonna go on hiatus for a bit while I make new material) but I was thinking at least drawing up a short prologue and epilogue for your characters and maybe one part of the 5-part story arc. I'm kind of playing it by ear.

Name: Ivolice Bartlett

Series: Ivolice and the Emissaries
Bio:
Sophomore from high school she found a weird creature from another universe claiming her world is in the brink of extinction. Upon this knowledge she is sucked into alternate reality of her world where she meets a mysterious figure collecting the seeds of man in order to resurrect his world. Ivolice is then woken to her status as the emissary of light and defends her world from those who choose to attack it. She enjoys baking and dancing.
Team: MC

Name: Faris Sanders
Age 16
Series: Ivolice and the Emissary
Bio:
Daughter of popular fashion designer Allison Sanders she lives a life of semi-luxury. She's always been a timid girl often avoiding people due to her social status. During her first day at her new school she discovers something weird happening around her while hiding in the locker room in physical education. Upon exploring what is going on she finds herself in an alternate reality of her own world where she witnesses a strange lizard creature fighting against a young girl wearing pink fighting attire. When Faris is at risk of a cross fire the girl in pink jumps in to protect her. When the lizard creature steps in to make a final blow Faris jumps in to protect the young warrior and awakens her identity as the emissary of fire. Faris is an honor student, but lacks a lot of common social skills. She carries a strong desire to protect Ivolice and her comrades.
Team: Red (I guess)

Name: Vandaruis Krahn (Darius)
Age: ?
Series: Ivolice and the Emissary
Bio:
Known as the Forgotten King among his fellow warriors, his world was destroyed due to his own desires to rule over the four major kingdoms. Before the inevitable end Darius was offered the chance to fix the damage he had caused as long as he was willing to plant the seeds of destruction in other worlds. Despite knowing of the harm he carries upon each world consumed by him and his new comrades he still carries the desire to undo his own mistakes he created in his home. He believes in fighting with honor and chooses to restrain himself from going all out in battle. He carries some respect for Ivolice for being a brave fighter, but also feels she is a fool for attempting to stop the inevitable destruction he and his comrades will bring to her world.
Team: Villainous

This series is still a wip and doesn't have a release date until June, so if you need more info/refs or anything please let me know, I'd be happy to give them out so long as spoilers of my work remains confidential.

Try not to make this too much of a good vs evil type of thing but make it more of a character development. I really struggle because they always have an "evil, oh no!" type of genre to them but no "I have my own path and I want to follow it". I don't know if that makes any sense but I'm just trying to help.

Rad. I'll add them to the document later. I'm planning on removing Sheldon from Team Red to avoid over attrition of my characters on the roster. Though I might have a GAME WORLD clone of him show up...

Also, should we have Team Highspeed, or Team Nature? Or a completely different team entirely? I'm leaning towards Team Nature because that is more general, although a team based around speed could make for interesting fights.

I'll be honest, there's too many teams. Unless you can traction more interest with only three submissions per person it might be hard to fill in all those spaces. You're better off keeping things low with the expectation of 5 people joining and basing teams from that. If you're keeping it three 3 characters per person make it simple like. 2 characters and 1 antagonist (or vice versa).

Sounds good. So, should I reduce the number of teams, or should I reduce the amount of characters on each team?

I don't know what your ultimate goal is with each team so I can't tell you what to do with that. If you have a team of writers I suggest working with them to find out if taking teams off effect the story as a whole or if just reducing members is easier. But then again I'm not writing:

Yeah, It's just me working on this thing. I'm really not sure what to do, I might just put this on the back burner until I'm more skilled in what I'm doing before we continue. I was namely just using this to gain interest and Ideas so that when we all were ready to do it, we could get on with it.

Well, I don't mind helping out to make your idea a reality so just let me know when you're wanting to shift to high gears and get a move on in this.

Name: Flare
Series: Burning Shadows
Bio: She woke up without any memories, her main dream is to know who she is and why she seems to be the only one with dragon like features. Flare is very stubborn, reckless, proud, easy going and kinda lazy.
Weapon/Powers: Flying, pryrokinesis, some hand-to-hand combat.
Team: Main Characters

Name: Shade (pseudonym)
Series: Burning Shadows
Bio: He is an aster, one of the mythical races, who met Flare while he was traveling across the north, his name (he calls himself Shade to mock Flare and refuses to share his true identity) and his true intentions remain unknown. He’s serious, cold, dishonest, loyal, protective and sometimes quite brave.
Weapon/Powers: Flying, swordfighting and sealing powers.
Team: Blue Team maybe?

Also as KoreanTacos said, I wouldn’t mind helping on whatever you need, though English isn’t my first language

Neat. I'll add them to the roster later as well. Although it'll probably get a bit confusing having two red, pyrokinetic, hot-headed, dragon characters named Flare on Team MC.
