True, but now since all the people with big fan bases entered their's they could win first place,but second place is all up to the editorial team...So we wait and hope they like one of the stories

Ah I understand this! Sorta. I'm saving up to move out on my own or for self-publishing or get a drawing tablet to continue to learn how to draw. If this works out, it could help, but I'm just having fun with participating right now so whoop!

I wanna make a living writing...whether novels, comics, or even movie scripts....To be honest, for the movie thing I'm kinda takin a long shot, but what the heck life is about taking risks

Hmmm. I understand. That's one downside of competitions, the fact that you are competing with others. It makes it difficult to keep the friendly atmosphere.

I feel the same. It can be discouraging when it seems like no one is interested in your stuff, but the best mentality to have is to do it because it's fun. Because the fact that you chose to put yourself out there is great.

Lol, mine also have zero subscriber (and I know why peoples doesn't wanna sub it after my excessive warning, :). No need to get nervous. If your story is good, you can certainly win. If you don't, just let it be a good experience, there's always a second writing camp.
