It's a me. Your typical, kindly, neighbourly amino acid, Phenylketonurics (specifically, phenylalanine)
He's from a tiny exchange my mom and I had when I was 13. I was drinking a diet cola and asked her what "phenylketonurics" was, to which she replied in a horror-inspired groan, "Phenylketonurics is your soul." AND IT WAS.
Of course with further research, phenylketonurics is the term used for those with an inability to metabolise the amino acid phenylalanine. But aspartame/saccharine and artificial sugar process in our biochemistry appealed to me deeply, I found correlation of sensitivities to them affecting neurological components on a whole new level. Micro-examination is fascinating and, for me, structures such a cool platform for art creation.
