She's the main character from my novel actually, the sad Dragon Princess Suren. She's a real sweetheart even if she is depressed 24/7. :green_heart:

My icon is actually just a screenshot from one of the panels in my comic. She's just a supporting character, but I relate to her the most because she's such a fucking gremlin

Mine is based off of a joke situation that happened in an RP.
'The crab Yokai slowly sipped a cup of tea. "Okay..." He put the cup around to his back and let the face sip from the cup too. "Won't lie, you guys are creeping me out." He said and turned back into his house and drew the blinds down.'

It's based on a Yokai called a Heikegani which is a crab with a human face on it's back. And it is also me, because I found the situation so hilarious when I wrote it that I realized...yup...my artist mascot's gonna be a crab XD

Thanks! no, it's supposed to be a type of robot. I was thinking of trying an animal based avatar, but I didn't really want to be pigeonholed as an artist squarely focused on just animals and animal-like characters if that makes sense.

Mine is a part of the cover for chapter 4, which features Myriam. Kept her as my avatar even though I'm in chapter 5 as her character is going through something big and the mood of that particular art piece is still very much relevant.

Mine just a drawing of me. But I do change it a bit from time to time (like putting these glasses on me).

My avatar is one of the main ocs in my New Gods novel. Her name is Stellar and she is an interdimensional astronomer. I painted it last year. : - ) (full version below)

I drew mine while I was really bored in one of my art history classes about three years ago. He's not from my comic, nor did I ever developed this character further. I just happend to draw it and like it so much that it's been my avatar on all my social media ever since.

Apparently mine has confused some people concerning my ethnicity...

My icon is my fursona so its both me and a character I created. Bramble Berry is like a slightly idealized version of myself as a cute squirrel person. He's a character that I have a deep personal connection and attachment to. I use him to represent myself online across all my art accounts including here on Tapas. Its like having a very well developed personal mascot. Way more people know me as a grey and purple squirrel than the number of people who know me as a human lol.

I make furry (anthropomorphic animal) art and this includes my comic. So using him on here just makes sense. He hasn't had a cameo in the comic or anything yet (one day!) but in my head I want to show him up in his treehouse hard at work making scribbles for comics in a Q&A down the road sometime.
