Wow, this page is gorgeous! I love the really soft lighting you have going on here and the characters are awesome and something new I don't see a lot. I'm LOVING bird dude (I'm sure there's something much better to call him, please excuse my lack of originality). Overall, really beautiful page and that second to last panel is really nice to look at with that background! I'm a sucker for soft colors and you pulled them off.

The expression and humor going on throughout your brilliant paneling is fantastic. Especially the clear irritation of the fellow in the last panel. "You don't say..." It gave me a hearty chuckle, and yet remains a serious quote.
The coloring is wonderful as well, and the placement of sound effects doesn't interrupt the flow of context at all. Great work.

I really love the linework and the use of tones in this, and those motion lines are fantastic. I always struggle with them. My one critique would be to tone or color the eyelashes in the top panel just a little off white, I didn't recognize them as eyelashes at first and thought the eyelid was just drawn a little jagged. Other then that though it's excellent!

An emotionally packed page! I love how you show just about every negative emotion that a student could give their teacher. Especially a math and physics teacher My favorite expression is one the second panel, but the art in the third is quite Awsome!

@Benzy Great banter between the student and "teacher"-- I have not read the series, but already get the idea that he is following her, for some reason! Love the colors and the expressions, very well done... and really like the flow of the speech bubbles.

I enjoy black and white (obviously!) so I really like your clean lines and the added texture, to give the panels more emotional/impact feel. I am curious about the 2nd panel, with the big cat, I thought it was a picture, but it may be a den in the wall? The paw over the railing gives me that impression. Maybe, if it is a wall, add just a few brick marks in the surrounding wall to make that a bit clearer? Other than that-- good work!

My partner and I are the full time contributors, so we keep pretty busy with all aspects of the creation. We have a couple people fill in at random times on various projects (some inking, writing, etc). Atomic Tales we have a back catalog built up which allows us to work on Scouts (my partner) and War Acre (mine). We've been fairly productive since we started working together (2014) and have published 3 issues of Atomic Tales, 1 issue of Sprinkles and The Starbright Band (we still need to get that onto the site!), and Absurd Tales ( a one-shot of local Dallas/Ft Worth underground artist). We also had a short story published by Antarctic Press in House of Ax (The Burnhollow Story). So when we're not working full time jobs and taking care of family lives we're making comics!
If it doesn't drive us crazy we're looking forward to 2016 and even more work!

Hot damn, the art is poppin'. The color work is great and I love the character design on the baddies--those little tree dudes are awesome, where can I get one? The dialogue is good too, well presented, I can hear the characters in my mind. The only thing that got me was the German with the asterisk-- it took me a second to find the translation because I didn't see the * right away nestled in the corner there. I'm always considering how to represent translated text in a way that doesn't jar the reader out of the story, it's an ongoing struggle. A+!

Here's Tuesday's page for Finite Incantatem; first page of the new chapter, so it's all set up and no dialogue. Thoughts on the page's contrast? Me and the artist have different views.

@starsyscomics The contrast and movement of the page is incredible. You can see and feel the mood and setting perfectly from the choice shading, and using the camera angle to follow as they reach the candlelit door! A smart and wondrous page has been built!
If I were to critique it at all, it would only be on the folds of the clothing in the second panel. It doesn't look natural on everyone there. Feel free to forgo the comment though, as the art style is strong. (Like the Ministry of Magic) Heh. I certainly hope my opinions have addressed your concerns in some way.

I juggle between English and Spanish a lot and sometimes i make really weird mistakes on both. (Los de español son los mas que me frustran haha)

The hand is a little off on the first page, the finger are too equal. The pinky is the same length as the others and the middle finger should be slightly longer. Nice perspective though!

Really nice use of the dark background/white lines, the scene on itself i can tell it supose to be a scary scene whith those hands grabing the character, i sure dont see that a lot being used. very well sequenced, enought to make out what happened there, and interesting use of the sound effect behind the character, it adds up to the spookness, because that way we can tell wathever is haunting her is behind her, not sure if was done intentionally but is good nontheless
