The art style's great. Super expressive. I love the pull back panel with the brandishing of the knife! The writing is low key and funny, and though the story's a few pages long, each page establishes something new and unexpected, then resolves its own gag in the final panel. It's a really fun idea, executed at a high level. There are a few punctuation inconsistencies, which could very well be purposeful and didn't detract at all from the rest of the page for me.

My newest page of Atonement is the beginning of the last stretch of pages in its prologue. We're beginning to resolve a couple of our initial, establishing mysteries and characters here. At this point, the reader's still yet to see any dialogue, or even a sound. My hope's that the introduction will intertwine well, and that when it does come together, we'll have created a great way to introduce the unique setting without too much expository writing.
