Oh man, I really love the paneling on this page, and how alone you can tell he feels at the end. This is a perfect example of using the page to create emotional resonance with your readers. I decided to subscribe to your comic just based on this page and the description when I went there! I'll catch up with the whole comic later!

OK, below is my latest comic of Beast Bait. What I'm proud of with this page is that I was able to recreate the feeling of the very first page of Beast Bait (here is the link for comparison). The purpose of that is to help you get in the character's head--Agent Vanski has a dream at the very beginning, and now she's experiencing the same thing, so the reader should have the exact same sense of deja vu.

When you got to this page I did end up feeling a sense of deja vu so I looked back and realized that the beginning pretty much foretold this moment. I really enjoy that kind of writing and can't wait to see if agent Vanski has something supernatural about her. As for the design of the page I feel like you're getting more creative with your panel layout and the second panel is a great behind view that really helped hold the suspense of the venus fly trap center a little bit longer.

I noticed that there are a couple of spelling errors in the text, I think it's an easy thing to miss but important as it hinders the reading of the coimc. I*m not sure if the proportions of the character in the first panel is off, but his arms seem a bit short and his head a little big. This is something that I struggle with constantly. I do think his armor looks very good though. And I really like your second panel, the mural cycle.In fact the whole concept and setting seems interesting.

@jessicasurline I feel bad that you were skipped a few days ago, especially because this is an awesome page. I love that this is hand drawn (saw your video in the other thread!) The timing is spot on and I love the details in the gun and the color in her eyes. She has nothing to lose and that emotion shows very clear in her desperate attempt to make the pain go away. Excellent page.

@TheVoidchildProject Nice tones on this page. I quickly checked out the other episodes before this, and I think you are developing a very unique style (I love the skeleton/monster/demon designs). Good job there. I am also rather impressed with your lettering-- very good story telling sense. I am hoping the next page is a splash of her with that last final word description. That would be perfect timing Keep up the good work!

Love the painterly approach to characters, particularly the softness of the art. The purple balloons are a bit lost on the purple background. With the lack of background details on this page, hopefully previous pages have set the scene already?

@aronthemason interesting page. I feel kinda bad for the pizza guy (though I don't know anything about him, so maybe he deserved it?). I like how the leaves break the panel border at the top and bottom of the first panel. It's a nice effect. The expressions are well executed too. I also think you did a good job switching up the camera angles for a lot of dynamic action. Nicely done!

@Cielle Nice art work, especially with the lighting on his face in the fourth panel. What I was thinking of is that there are so many colored objects that the speech bubbles sort of blended in with everything else in the background and the second panel (in the lower right corner of the first panel) I didn't even see it at first. It's cool that the gutters are black, but it can also cause confusion (like with that panel i mentioned) if the gutters are very slim.

You've got a nice eye for detail, I'm impressed by the details in the first panel. Keep up the good work!!

@myimaginarypals Hahaha. It's sort of a perfectly executed gag page. I also REALLY appreciate the execution of a good boot pun. I love the vibrant color contrasts, the lettering, the fun line art. I guess, most of all, it managed to make me laugh -- and that's really precisely what you want. : )

The newest page of Atonement is a page that I've been looking towards for a long time! It's a challenging page, though, and I'd love some feedback on it.

Fantastic sense for layout and paneling. The style feels on the characters feels like a blend of prehistoric, Tron-like futurism (and Halo). And the tone makes me really want to check this out..

I'll be honest, I was a little bored drawing this page. Since it's kinda similar to an earlier one. But this is how it plays out in the script, Which I wrote very much in a style of "weekly"/"bi-weekly"/"monthly" format. You'll probably have to go back one page to get a sense of whats going on. @TheVoidchildProject This is excellent! I'm glad to comment on this image, as I commented on your previous one in this thread. This played out exactly how I imagined it would. Like I said before, I think your sense of storytelling is very spot on, and reading your comment about writing style-- I can see how that comes through very clear (I'm not sure which writing style it falls under, I'll have to check out the previous pages again) But I am very impressed with the atmosphere you've presented in your story. The tones are well executed and I love the lettering. Good job!

Amazing job with the colors! I love your use of gradients and textures. You also draw hands and faces amazingly well and consistently. (I'm really bad at that so I'm always impressed by people who do it right). You've also done a great job of character development with very little space and dialogue. It's a great hybrid of both telling and showing.

Whoa, heck yes, definitely attention-grabbing with the graphic illustration of the claw ripping up through the beast (of which, that guy's design is terrific!), intense stuff! Moving from the dramatic silhouette's frozen action scene to the stark white space focusing on the power unleashed is great pacing. And with the character counting, this is an exciting setup! Cool, detailed work, man!
