...you put out a really cool page that you put a ridiculous amount of effort into and get a great response and then realize that you have now set a new standard for the comic and anything less means you're being slack.
Worry not! A year from now you'll be that much better and make a new standard that's even harder to maintain.
That's great! It might be more work if you want to keep up the standard but it's an acceleration towards mastery.It's easy to get lazy so these kind of kicks in the "mental butt" might be necessary sometimes...
