I've thought about it a lot, perhaps jokingly, but honestly, if the hero of your story came to life, what would he do to you after realizing that his fate and life were written by your hand?

Claudita would probably look at me annoyed... sigh of frustration... and most likely she would pity me and see me as a sorry excuse of a human being and try to reason with me. Make me look like an idiot and embarrass myself. Then she might be my friend (strictly friend. No benefits. Shes asexual. It never began regardless of how attractive you are. )

And I don't think there's a single explanation I could give that would help.

Then I would just give him the rest of the script and the story would probably only be like 10 pages after that. (Probably less)

The most interesting reaction would be Alex's, since the character is already aware that interdimensional travel is possible, and has done research into our world, (this goes to explain, why the Abyssal, is a lot more modern then it contemporary). However, he would not believe that I am the creator of his world, instead rationalizing it the same way it was done in the story ‘Flash of two worlds’.

His whole being invented for a single comic, preposterous. Clearly, I was inspired to write because my brain was secretly tuned to the dimensional frequency of the other world whilst I was dreaming.

Despite whatever tribulations we laid upon them, would they not be grateful for having been called into existence by the writer? Maybe they would have to meditate on that for a bit before their anger boiled away.

None of my characters would believe that they are just made up characters,
so they wouldn´t come to that realization. Some of the nerdy conspiracy dudes
can imagine living in a simulation. But none of them would believe that they
are just characters in a comic. For me it´s exactly like I wouldn´t believe that
I´m a character in a comic.

Do our characters have a deep backstory that we've created for them? Otherwise, they'd have to be suspicious about why they cannot remember their childhood, grandparents, their first pet, and so on.

I feel like with the way I approach my characters, I never think it would be a problem.

Like, I don’t need to have every detail mapped out for the character for things to work, I just need what is a factor in the story. Outside of that they might have other things going on, but since it doesn’t matter to the narrative, I don’t need to think about it.

In this magical scenario where I get to meet my character, they would know more about their own world than I do, the same way I would know more about my own world because I lived in it for a lifetime instead of learning about it from second hand accounts.

This sounds like the premise for "Re:Creators", a series where main characters from manga, anime, books, and video games start randomly appearing in Tokyo and some of them actively seek out their creators and question why their creators made them and the world they came from. It used to be available on Amazon Prime, but I'm not sure where to watch it anymore.

Cristina would totally have her mind literally explode and have an existential crisis, if the explosion doesn't kill her first, (which it won't, she's got a thick skull), Edan would simply be dumbfounded and would try to console Cristina. Ben and Alice wouldn't stop nerding out and asking me about how any of this is even possible, although Alice would criticize me for my poor writing choices. Kelly would absolutely make me write her into the most epic and badass, anime-aura-farming music video ever.

Marco would just kill me (which would be fair tbh).
