Heres mine. A failed animated feature.
I just made this one today. It's part of a longer animation but I think it works as is ^^
Nice, I'm making some good progress but I think I gotta call it quits for the day. I'm hoping I can carry this motivation into tomorrow! This little experiment has been fun and honestly not too difficult--I'm using the joints from the arms/hands as well as the head as the base for every tween, since they're simple circles, and then drawing around them. I'll redraw the static frames to give it a little more life while redoing the lip-synching by also making the jaw move a little. Yowza, that's a lot of work to get done!
Nice extremes in this animation.
I have made a couple
Most of these are from years ago, but:
Here's my magnum opus that I'll plaster across any website that'll let me.
Here's another one that I'll probably be turning into writing soon.
Some more gifs of my characters from Galactiquest.
This one was done December last year.
And here's some animations of my characters from Hinimato. I did some more of these guys, but they're either super old or unfinished.
Well, I made these two small animations with the main characters of my webcomic. I had a lot of fun, especially with the second one because of the compositing.
First one: Nigel says what he thinks. This is actually an adaptation of a panel from chapter 5.
Second one: Frederick tries to cheer you up. This one isn't an adaptation of a scene from the comic, but rather a little experiment of mine. I wanted to test out pretty coloring and better compositing.
Quick gif.
This one's pretty old, but I briefly experimented with animation by making this featuring my comic's protagonists. It's a reference to Mega Man X's pose when clearing a stage! Kept telling myself I would finish it, but never got around to it, lol.
This helped me learn about easing to make the transition from one pose to another a bit more natural looking and snappy.
Holy heck, these are amazing! Some of these won't look out of place in a professionally-made anime or cartoon O_O (Maybe I should check out the sketch thread more often :O)
Here are some random attempts of mine
ANIMATED PROMOS FOR MY COMICS AND NOVELS ON YOUTUBE
Inks! This is coming along fairly well--I'm glad this process is actually fun now that I'm getting the hang of it!
Short animation depicting a scene from Nixvir (apologies if you can't see very well)
ooooof I'm gonna call it for the day. Next time I think I should be able to post it finished with the audio too!
okay, no more for this one, I'm done, I could polish it up a wee bit further but there's other things I can be doing so I'm calling it
Awww yeee git it girlI reckon this one is gonna be about a lot more smaller tweens, since we're upping the key frames from 4 to 9, although in a much shorter timeframe.
Whew, that was fun Talking scenes aren't so bad if I'm not trying to lip sync XD Guess I'll be chucking a few random GIFs into my comic from now on
ooh fun thread!
I dont animate as much as i want too tbh, really hope to get back to it soon but heres the most recent ones that isnt work stuff
both unfinished because my ADD brain just want to finish things fast but then get bored when it takes to long
I've actually found that lip-synching isn't so bad! It actually does a lot of help to save your key mouth frames-you know, the big round O's or the gritted-teeth N's, and then tween into them. Try animating lip-synching to audio clips, it's honestly not too bad when you hear the phoenetics frame by frame.
But hey, I'm glad to see you guys are still doing more animations! I tell you, making your pictures move is one of the best ways to make your artwork stand out. People just love to stare at animations.
Here’s a MAP part I finished earlier this year!
