I don't know what else to say other than it's an inescapable part of daily modern life. If you consume any kind of media, or work at any large corporation you cannot avoid it.
Personally, I believe in smaller government, lower taxes and less gov programs, I'm less open to changing long standing traditions, not fundamentally, just in general, and while I of course support establishing and maintaining equality of opportunity under the law and blind fairness in the justice system, I don't support pushing for equality of outcomes (equity, quotas, affirmative action etc) or the kind of "fairness" pushed for by social justice advocates, which is collectivist, appointing perpetrator and victim status to entire demographics as opposed to individual people.
I don't think these things are exclusive to one group. Case in point, when I was a kid it was the christian fundamentalists spreading moral panics, trying policing thoughts and speech, and banning things, and I was against all that then. Nowadays, when you run into someone engaging in the same tactics, odds are it's going to be a progressive behind it. Left or right, the problem as I see it is about authoritarianism. I'm all about liberty, freedom of speech and taking personal responsibility.
