Of course I do. I'm not saying that rape is a good thing. I'm only pointing out that there's a lot of it in our species history, and not without reason. If your species is fertile year-round, then coercive sex becomes a viable reproductive strategy, particularly for those males who would not otherwise be able to have children.
Again, I'm not advocating rape. It is Nature that's rapey. But just because something is natural, that doesn't mean it is morally correct.
I was agreeing with you, but I have to object to the "be treated accordingly" part. I'm not comfortable with a system where one's status as a person can be so easily taken away. Other people may act like beasts, but we as human beings have the moral obligation to treat them as our fellow men.
I'm going to have to disagree with this too. Cultural relativism doesn't get us anywhere. Worse, it promotes the idea that everyone's personal morality deserves of equal respect. But really, most people don't have morality. They only have their feelings, which are shaped by instinct, and their own experiences, again shaped by instinct.
Right and wrong can only be determined through reason, and most people don't take the time to think about these things.
