Oooh, alright! From your post I misunderstood that you like all your chicks dressed sexy. Yeah, that is shitty when you show the slightest thing and get hit with people calling one sexist/racist/biggoted/etc. Those type of accusations are rampant on Tumblr and Twitter, do or say something just right, and everyone will twist it into something awful. You think that since no one is safe from the sexy in your comic, people would see that you aren't sexist? But I guess some people just want something to get upset about, or lack common sense.
My experience with fingerpointers, and card pullers is more justified, but I can related a bit.
Not too long ago I posted a page where my dumb-dumb protagonist said something transphobic to a transperson, which I very much acknowledge is bad, and his comment was met with a negative response from the other character. Afterwards I got some people calling me, and the whole comic transphobic. This felt ironic since I'm not cis-gendered myself, the comic description says it's a sort of adult "coming of age" story, and I'm very open about my secondary main character being a closeted non-binary who likes dresses. (They were assigned as male at birth) Those spell out what some obvious future issues will be, at least I thought it did.
Although I can see how some people would react badly to stuff like that, they or their friends may have been verbally abused, or experienced some violent transphobic encounters. I mostly keep my gender to myself out of not having the energy to deal with the reaction, so I can't say I can totally relate to people who've experienced prejudice. I won't deny that some of my characters are problematic, they're supposed to be, but it does suck to have peeps make generalized assumptions of you and your work based on small instances rather than the bigger picture.
To be fair, your sexy stuff is actually pretty tame, I was expecting a censored playboy magazine type of look, with hentai sized boobs and ass. You draw tits better than most cis dudes. Lol!
