What someone thinks shouldn't matter to you but n this situation. There are undeniable facts.
- Lower financial investment to doing web comics.
- It takes 3 to 4 months to find out the first sales figures on a printed comic.
- By that time you're already financially commited to printing at least 6 books and have spent money you may not get back.
I used to own a comic book store, so I know how this works from both sides of the fence.
There are more factual differences, but those are the main ones.
I don't know your reason for asking, so this next thing may not be of concern to you.
One more thing to consider. Most comics fail because artists are too concerned about asking questions about what people think and feel rather than approaching this as a buisnees and gathering facts by d oing research.
