This sounds like an awesome idea. I'm pretty new here and need some feedback! I'm in!

Added you!

Everyone else, only one more day to sign in and then I'll assign you all !

If the comments includes constructive criticism, maybe it would be a good idea to include that in the main post's rules? Just so folks are crystal-clear that they're opening themselves up to critiques as well as praise.

You can praise or offer criticism, just be polite  I'll add it to the first post.

Submissions are closing in a few hours!

All right! Submmissions are closed! You will all receive a PM for the randomized comics! For those who hasn't received a PM, kindly tell me so!

Got my PM, will start commenting today. Making sure that we're supposed to leave comments on at least 5 pages, right?

I'm a little unsure, because we're meant to comment on 5 pages but I've been assigned a comic that only has 3...
Of course, I've left comments but I can't exactly leave 5 comments on 3 pages.

That is fine, you can leave comments as much as the pages allow you to ^^

Happy commenting, everyone! If this goes well, we'll open round two next month!

I would love some feedback on my comic

It's kind of a long journey to this point, and I am afraid I will mess it all up.

Submissions are cosed, try again next month!

@ everyone else : Lemme know if you haven't received your comments in five days!

An idea for next round: Could we specify whether we want criticism or comments, and/ or both?

I second this notion!

I agree! I'll enforce them next time.

One more day to comment!
Let me know if you haven't got your comment yet by tomorrow!

Got my comments! I got @Michelle and she is super amazing! I'll try to follow her footsteps in leaving comments in other's works!

So glad you liked the comments! :3 I enjoyed this exchange and getting a chance to see a new comic.

This seemed like a interesting experiment. I hope it returns so I can contribute. I could not join because I´m on vacation. Oh well!

Hello, a few assigned commenters haven't really commented on their assigned comic, this is almost the seventh day for me.

Since my first PM went unanswered, I am calling you out @mbdelgados and @SakebiSensei to fullfil your part on the trade for THREE MORE DAYS

@Marton : I think I will host again next month!

I apologise to have not done my part sooner, I was kinda busy in the last days (and I expired all my cellphone internet credit).
I hope I can incur in you forgiveness, my lady.

Hi!
As I already wrote, I wasn't home for a week now, and I just arrived yesterday. I will do my part now!

I'm very sorry for being late! ;A;

Thanks everyone for fulfilling your part! Let's do it again next time!

Part two now open!

This thread was open to comic creators, not novelists. That's reasonable given how it takes longer to read a novel chapter than to read a typical comic page. Novelists exchanging comments with each other, however, is a fair and feasible thing. I tend to leave feedback when I some prose anyway, so it would not be much more effort for me to commit to a requested comment.

Is any other novel writer (or poet for that matter) wanting to give this a try?

Make a thread for it and i'll jump on ship sometime tomorrow (busy with a chapter today).

@Zaboem Instead of comments why don't we do what professional writers do for others? Write a blurb for the story we read, I think that would be something more interesting than just comments for us novelists.

I am not sure if a blurb would be as useful for everyone since that is not a part of the Tapas system. Eh, you are probably right. Maybe the requester could specify if one wants a blurb, a critique, or just any old comment.

A dedicated thread is an excellent suggestion.
