I've been summoned by the amazing @oshirockingham ! I shall tell something about one of my characters.

I want to talk about a secondary character. This is Oksana, she is an 18-year-old Russian woman. She works as a lady of the night and serves as a spy for Nicola due to her great beauty. Full of life and kind by nature, she dreams of being able to leave this life one day to become a nurse.

My turn to summon ! @TAMAnnoying @rmdooley and i want to know more about other characters from @oshirockingham so yeah, Oshi i summon you again XD

Many thanks for the tag

Let's talk about Noel, my own player character from the D&D campaign that my comic is adapting

Noel hails from the frigid north part of the continent known as "The White", and is the son of a well-known merchant and ex-member of the town guard. He was exiled from his home town after killing a rival merchant and his goons who were plotting to kill his father in a ploy to steal his clientele. His class is "frost knight" which was bestowed upon him by the Goddess Shiva who approached him in the moment when he needed to decide whether to act on the rival merchant's intentions or not. However 1 goon got away, and framed Noel for murder rather than self defense.

Noel had to leave the town the next day, but his father was able to send him with a letter of introduction to a noble family with which had had a favorable working relationship with. He told Noel to travel there and ask to stay with them in exchange for service to their family. Thankfully, he was taken in and appointed the personal body guard of the family's son, Adoro. Adoro and Noel grew to form a close friendship over the course of the next several years, and that brings us to where the comic starts

This was fun to gush about, as many of the character backstories won't be directly addressed in the comic (although they may be bonus content down the line xD)

I'll pass along to @Inspector_Spinda @gelatina.destroyer & @TAMAnnoying :100:

OOF! I didn't see this earlier enough, and got tagged by three people

Hmmm, I guess I'll go with Michelle:

So Michelle's full title is "Michelle 'Minnie the Mouse' Smith". Her story takes place in a fictional 1980s Chicago with crime and humans co-existing with non-humans/demons. She's a gal straight outta college, working at her grandma's diner. But by night, she's the Golden Assassin (because of her naturally gold eyes).

Her targets are always criminal outlets, though it's not for a righteous cause -- if someone needs Rival A outta the way to gain more territory, revenge, or whatever beef they have, they call on her. Course, that doesn't mean she's loyal: if someone puts a previous client on her hit list, she pulls no punches (the money is that good).

Haven't started the script for her story yet, but that's in the making. It'll be a bit more action-based/violent than my other works, so I'm excited to try this idea out.

I think I'll tag @Black_Conscious @VibrantFox and @darthmongoose

Oh wow! Summoned 3 times? Thanks @Chita @TheGreatArtisan and @CursedBeasts !

I choose to talk about Zephyr!
1
//click if you'd like to see the full size

Here are some quick facts:
Name: Zephyr/ "Z"
Age: ~12 in the flashbacks/~22 in the present
Gender: ??? (Nonbinary/Agender uses They/Them Pronouns)
Quick Personality Traits: Introverted, Daydreamer, Philosophical, Shy, Extremely Polite, People Pleaser, Occasionally Scatterbrained, tends toward Cynicism in times of stress
Other Notes: Has a weird relationship with gravity, and can choose how to interact with it. This allows them to stand on walls and ceilings, or even float if they wish.

Zephyr is the (former) apprentice of an organization which manages the infinite branches of reality.
After befriending some completely ordinary and not at all strange human children and going through a turbulent couple of days, however, they wind up living in a reality similar to ours and slowly adjusting to life on earth. They have a fascination with a lot of "earth" things such as nature, academics, and even fiction. They spend most of their adult free time reading or watching documentaries on obscure topics. They automatically distrust authority figures and harbor a deep seated hatred of lies and intentional misinformation.

Now For a summoning: @DukeOfOool @nellie_warren @eloquent

Thanks for the tags, @ivanskilling and @uglygirlnextdoor!

Joel Farber is a book-keeper who loves reading about history (especially antiquity) and self-improvement. He has long struggled with self-esteem, since his mother (as well as many of his peers) was verbally and emotionally abusive towards him growing up. He also has to deal with the remnants of a childhood stutter.

As a child, he was painfully shy and had trouble making friends. Disliking how he was always pushed around, he pushed himself to become extremely outgoing and argumentative during his teen years, hoping this would make up for his years of "silence." However, this isn't his real self either - so in university, he becomes more subtle and quiet, but retains his penchant for political debate.

"The Book of Joel" starts when Joel is 24. Now more confident and emotionally open than ever, Joel is now well on his way to asserting his independence from his parents.

Through his relationship with Malka, an intelligent, kind, and extremely perceptive young woman, Joel has finally learned to embrace aspects of his personality that he had tried to suppress before (in particular, his amorous and loving personality, since he was worried that these aspects made him weak).

TL;DR:
Personality: Extroverted/ambivert (on the surface), introverted (when he is alone or with his loved ones), anxious, intellectual, over-thinker, sensitive
Themes he has to deal with in his story: growing up, asserting his independence from his parents, discovering what he wants in his career as well as in his relationship, allowing himself to love and be loved

Joel is the protagonist of "The Book of Joel," which is coming out at 50,000 ink and is also a side character in my main series, "Sam in New York" (he is the protagonist Sam's friend and will be introduced officially later this month in "Sam in New York").

"The Book of Joel"'s cover and Teaser Prologue can be read here: https://tapas.io/series/The-Book-of-Joel/info1

I have been summoned @0@

Thank you @AilyneGouveia and @Rhonder !

Hard to pick who I wanna talk about the most so lets go with the guy who talks about himself the least!

This Beetch

Dimitri or would otherwise be known as Dimitrious if he ever remembered that was his full name.

Lost his parents when he was young and ran away to the wandering tribes around his kingdom. The place is run by a bunch of progressive/regressive? Lizardfolk called Szards. Due to his upbringing he tends to fall for women who can break him in half with their bear hands or just have that general air of dominance about them. (tho the more subtle "your gonna do what i said because i said so" and less of the lusy fem wilds kind)

Other likes are fried Bananas, which is one of the only things Thea can get him to actually eat despite him always being kind of hungry. Most likely this is due to his depression.

For the most part his story arc in the first book is him trying to get over his own bias, which- unsurprisingly- is hard to do when you have traumas that have build up those bias. Thankfully there is a giant teddy bear esk lizard called Ralh that has the patience of a saint whos ready to fix this trash boy up.

One thing i enjoy about dimitri is that as manly as his body type would imply he really dosn't care too much about social standings when it comes to his masculinity. He continues to wear earrings even after moving to a place that finds them feminine, simply because he likes them and thats that- he'll even go out of his way to buy really pretty ones with lots of do-dads and colors cause he just finds them so neat! (prob helps he lived in a desert all his life and just gets real excited when he sees colors he hasnt seen before)

On that note have dimitri with some longer hair cause i didnt realize this boi had a smolder till i drew it XD

Summary

(also cant wait till we shave that damn beard off him for a chapter or two, boy grows like a forest)

I feel so late to the party XD a lot of people I know have already been summoned
I will try @Kelheor @PapaDom and @DiegoPalacios and see if anyone visits XD

Because you're summoning your summoner, I'm free from the curse of the obligation to summon other beings.
And oh, so she wanted to be a nurse, well she still can dress as one though.
Anyway. here's Ax.

Ax used to exterminate vermins when he worked in the pest control services.
Now, the vermins he's hunting walk on two legs.

Teleports behinds @fortunusgames You summon me, Mad'am Fort? Oh my, this is interesting. Then I might as well chime to the thread as well

Name: Sara Sanstia

Age: 524

Race: Vampire (Third Generation)
Occupation: Heir Duchess of the South of the Demon Realm and founder of The Dark Children of the Night.
Bio: After her family estate was raided and burned to the ground during the 500 Year Civil War, Sara brought it upon herself to save the southern city so no one would have to go through what she and her family went. Losing their home and losing a sibling that wasn't even born yet. However, her sisters, Andrea and Miyoko constantly remind her that do it always on her own as she would come back home with more cuts, bruises, and even scorched skin. But it didn't matter to so long as she's protecting her city that she'll one day inherit from her family. She can't stand by and watching others suffer. But they were right. She had to form a group sooner or later. She formed a formidable group from the other neighboring cities that brought an end to The 500 Year Civil War. So formidable and notorious people fear that they'll be next for uttering their name. The Dark Children of The Night.

Now I pass on the torch to @castillojb21, @DaphnePanda, and @Gramkrackerhan join in the fray and join in THE MADNESS!!

appears in puff of some cover in blankets Oh. Sorry I was late. Was getting the vaccine. Um... right.... SCRIPT!! reads script

OK Right Build-a then one moment

So Build-a is a robot set to female identification. She was not built until all humans had died off. So while her brain case was over 100 years old, she is only about 6 months old currently. She became leader of the Grey side due to lack of other choices and really and truly just wants to build anything fun that comes to mind. She is a odd little bot, compared to what others expect, but she is unaware of this for the most part. Build-a wants everyone to get along and at times has to fuss at Red and Blue. She has a close relationship with Query, who is a mother type figure to her.
Her biggest concern currently is making sure they find a way to create new bot brain cases.

Ah right 3 people... @jensrichard77 @Jenny-Toons @joannekwan

Thanks, @Prometheus and @TAMAnnoying. Your call awoke me from my slumber, and I rushed as fast as I could. (Not really, but I tried...)

So, OC's... Well, I guess I'll go with Olivia obvious.

Olivia (16) is your average happy-go-lucky girl. She tries to get along with all people she meets and tries to see the good side of them. (Kid got the heart in the right place) But she can be an airhead for her innocence sometimes. Her friends are the most precious people to her, so whenever they need help, Olivia would be the first to aid them. But when something would bother her, she straight up tells what's on her mind. And here is a fun fact: After moving to another city, she dyed her bangs green to stand out more because secretly, she tries to be popular (but doesn't want to come over as selfish, so she never tells someone about it.)

Now it's my turn to summon. And I choose @diamondpowder , @agunceto and @vothnthorvaldson.

All right, to mix things up a bit instead of talking about Rekki... let's talk about Jules! They've been causing mixed reactions in the comments so far! :sweat_02:

Juliet Ellis, who prefers to be called Jules (age 20, pronouns: She/They), is the younger sibling of Urien Ellis... yes... as in... the guy who made himself King. As you can imagine, having your kind of an asshole brother decide to make himself king one night when you're ten years old is... not exactly a setup for a normal adolescence, especially if you happen to be an autistic orphan raised by your weird alcoholic aunt.

Still, they've at least always had somebody to rely on and that's Rekki Lune, due to the friendship between their families and Rekki being a lot closer in age to Jules than Urien, developed an "older sister" relationship with them and later took them on as a squire. Jules' highly creative but often strange approach complements how totally blunt and straightforward Rekki tends to be. Jules has successfully managed to gain a knighthood, but their skills really lie more in magitech, stealth and illusion magic than swordplay.

To cope with the stress of being related to an evil king, Jules has a tendency to "mask" (a term used in the Autistic community for hiding autistic traits by copying observed behaviours and slipping into a persona like you're playing a part, sometimes without being consciously aware you're doing it) by playing the role of a "villainess" character like from a cartoon or webcomic ....Admittedly they do this partially because they think it's really funny, but it's also easier to have people treat you like you're weird on your own terms by playing a deliberately weird character.

Jules is playful, clever, irreverent and blunt, but also plagued by a lot of anxiety... and has a very important role to play in the story as we go forward.

I'm going to tag.... hmmmmm..... @miss.monocle @Chita and @snowy ! :tapa_pop:

Thank you for tagging me, @PapaDom

I am not sure which character to pick, so I'll go with Delyana, who was picked as the most popular character. I can't draw to save my life, so the image you see was created by using Azalea's Elven portrait maker: https://www.azaleasdolls.com/dressupgames/elven-portrait.php1.

Delyana has lived over 1000 years and is the most dangerous type of witch among the three - a witch of sense. She can come off as very intimidating when you first meet her, because of her cool beauty and height (she is around 177 cm tall, which I believe is about 5ft9inch). She travels a lot and incorporates a lot of these places styles in her clothing. Over the years she has had relationships with both man and women but is currently with a man, who will make a brief appearance in the upcoming chapters.

I am going to tag @amortelito, @vothnthorvaldson and @DiegoPalacios.

Thanks for the tag @Jenny-Toons :sparkling_heart::sparkles::relieved:

Ima keep this one short lol

Name: Channie
Age: 14
Sex: Female
Ethnicity: Black American

Channie is a 14 year old girl who goes to middle school, she is currently on her last year she knows that once she makes her way into Highschool her life will change, she is a very strong girl having to argue with her older brother soon about countless of things who is going into Senior year, she was nicknamed "Tuff" for her character personality but beneath that she's a sweat girl but has a difficult time on expressing herself on that which having people to look at her at a certain way.

So yee....

Lets see Ima tag these beautiful folks right here :sparkling_heart::sparkles: :
@IndigoShirtProd
@Lady_T_Musings
@HippieGhost
(Hope yall don't mind lol)

I don't mind at all! This is my second tag but I have plenty of OC's, so let's talk about another one of my pirates, Brun!

Brun is one of the kindest hearts on The Crimson Tempest, but is also among the most terrifying! She is an enormous 7'4, with larger hulking muscles capable of deadlifting up to 500kg. She dwarfs all of my other characters, and is famous for crushing people to death with her bare hands, but all she really wants is a good friend, and maybe an adorable lesbian to step on.

Here's Brun pictured with one of my other main characters, Rin Doli'Cera, who has not made her first appearance yet.

(Credit again to @HopefulAttempt for the wonderful fanart)

Here are some fun facts about Brun:

  • Brun is only 18 at the time of her first appearance in Finding Work. She was 16 when she joined the crew.|

  • Brun reached her maximum height of 7'4 when she was 12 years old.

  • Brun wrestled a bear once. She won.

  • Specifically, she suplexed a bear

  • Brun's favorite weapon is her axe, but she often prefers to break bones with her bare hands

  • In a non-canon collab, Brun once rescued a woman that was trying rescue HER from some knights. They began to flirt while she held one knight by his head in her hand, and when he got too distracting, she popped it.

The scene in question:

I'm gonna tag @crowstories because I don't think she responded to her last tag.

Damn, thanks for the summoning @thel3tterm!!
I'll tell yis about Georgia.

Georgia is a young Irish-Taiwanese artist. She uses the pronouns she/her, she identifies as bisexual and has a complicated relationship with... relationships. She is an introvert who hates to be alone, which is one hell of an oxymoron.
I don't like to say too much about Georgia for the sake of people beginning the comic for the first time - it's best to learn about her as the story progresses. All you have to know is that she can get REALLY invested in her artwork.
I'll tag @Tromroan and @hemsleyxlucas !!
Here's my comic!

https://tapas.io/series/To-the-Touch

Thank you for tagging me @Pony_wearing_a_hat! 🖤
I'm not the best at drawing, so sorry everyone :joy:

This is the main character from my novel:

Beck is suffering through her last semester of highschool. Her favorite word is f**k and she hates mornings :skull:

I will tag @starlesscomics @Tanidreams @DaisyYoung

Thanks so much for tagging me! I don't really know people on the forums very well yet so i tag you, yes you, whoever it is that is reading this to contribute!! <3

These are Stella and Boris, an absolute cinnamon roll and the local edgelord. They are best friends <3
