As I've mentioned a few times here, my comic was originally planned to be an animated series. It was far enough along that I made storyboards for the first episode, as well as getting voice actors to voice the whole thing. Unfortunately, the demands of animation were too much for me to finish a single episode, let alone the entire series, so it was left sitting unfinished on my hard drive for 15 years(!).
I always felt really bad about that, especially making the voice actors do all that work for me just for it to come to naught. So just for fun, and a little bit of personal closure, I figured I'd compile those old lines together with my old storyboards. And now that the comic version of chapter 1 is out, I can finally share it and give a glimpse of what the animated version would have been like!
(I put a LOT of work into this, hopefully my modern-day editing skills are enough to offset some of the 2008 cringe, haha.)
