The right kind of category for my series

Hi guys! I started posting my webcomic on Tapas a couple weeks ago. I'd say it is an adventure series with comedic overtones. Though it definitely has action, and fantasy elements, I felt putting it under those categories could set the wrong expectation, so I opted to place it under comedy. However, I'm not sure that's the most representative category either! I'd appreciate if you could give it a look and suggest which category you feel represent it the best. I'll be happy to do the same if anyone has doubts about their own series!

Foo. It's tricky to place your comic. I would also have gone intuitively for fantasy but, now you mention it, I can see how it might not get the right crowd there. Maybe even science fiction? I know it's not exactly but it'd probably get more of the crowd that would like this kind of thing.

Tapas needs more categories.

I think technically its a long-form comedy. I'd stay with comedy. If you put it in with fantasy it might get lost a little bit. Or put it into adventure. Either one I think is okay, since it's not slice of life.

I agree, I'd probably have gone with "adventure" if it was an option, since it doesn't imply the kind of images/expectations that come with "action", "fantast", or "sci-fi".

Thanks, @sarrowsmith10! That was kind of my mental process. There is no "adventure" category, ufortunately. But I'll follow your advice and stick to comedy for a little longer =)

I know. I'd put "adventure" for yours too. I put comedy for mine too but it's an educational comic so I'm not sure how well that fits either.

It'd be cool if there was an educational category. But your comic is also funny, so I'd say it fits well in comedy!

For what i saw, the constant element of your comic are adventures. Sometimes there is action, sometimes there is comedy, and is not 100% traditional fantasy, but is always an adventure.

Thanks for checking out my comic, @DiegoPalacios, I hope you liked it! I agree with you, I feel 'adventure' is the category that best describes it. Unfortunatley, Tapas doesn't offer that choice.
