When I think about all the characters I've made over the years, I think Dawn still takes the "favorite" spot, if that was an actual thing I really care about nowadays. I've taught myself to distance myself from getting too attached to these constructs of my imagination. But, I do like drawing this character a lot regardless of that distance.

@LCT_m_a_d I'm bummed that was your takeaway - I thought critique being tricky or awkward for many would be a big factor there .
I felt like the critique was easy for everyone and I learned plenty but there just wasn't any real interest in what I could offer in return to anyone, and I lack the ability to know these things alone without constant critique. Which is fine since there are other creative capacities I can be of value in.
I haven't drawn this boy in a hot minute, and couldn't stop myself today. He used to be pink. I tried a few different colors today (purple and grey) and I think I like grey the best?
