@DualDragons yeah. I'll find something else to put that comic into though so it's not a total loss.

@Lensing it's definitely a lack of commitment. If you set something up, and make statements of reward for the people who engage with it...it's very weak in my opinion to cancel it only weeks before the deadline. Being a person of your word is something I hold very seriously.

the people who been working on their art put the time and energy into it already,
time and energy you would have spent differently if it wasn´t for the contest

Nah, I wouldn't expect compensation anyway though. I didn't have a chance to upload it yet. They did give a reason. The magazine's main person was struggling with personal problems so they decided to shut down the whole thing.
