I don't know if I believe there's a point where it isn't useful to practice fundamental skills (should qualify that with if your goal is drawing realistic figures more accurately) but for sure 2 anatomy courses at once would be pretty overwhelming!! Just one is a lot. Hope you're enjoying the Proko stuff so far - I think it's so amazing how much in-depth content he's got that's free (maybe not my most charming trait but I have a hard time justifying spending money on art education). I had the same experience as you mentioned where having a grasp on what's under the skin is helpful towards drawing :).

Experimenting more with markers and some white gel pens I got today.
Hands parts 3, I will never draw hands like that in any comic but I will try to do the Proko assignmentsand hope it helps me to understand and draw hands better. The part that I take from this lesson is to draw the palm with 2 parts, it´s easier for me to think of thepalm consisting of 2 parts instead of one blocky part.On monday I´ll continue with leg bones

I'm not great with drawing women so I've been working more on feminine figures and this was my practice last night. I'm trying to come up with some interesting designs for a certain character type.
Hands look good. I love Proko, his stuff is insanely helpful and I always direct any new or old artists to it for learning.
