Unless you're trying to do some sort of Mr. Fantastic arm stretchy thing-
Palm down means thumb pokes you.
Palm in means thumb pokes your eye.
Palm up means thumb pokes firend.
Add a thumb to your right hand. Palm is down so it should poke a hip
