Adorkastock draw everything June (5) + poses together so far

The two-person poses take longer gaaaah but I love them more.

Yeah the perspective on this panel is rad! The second one definitely looks more "correct" (like feels like there's more depth) to me and it's clear I think what's going on, especially if you've got additional context.

My FL Alicia in her infamous pink wrap dress. She looks so pretty Imao XDDD

Trying to try a pride thing and this has taken me ages. Need to rework the face a bit. It's difficult when you are still learning your own style and things change constantly. Comparing now (still a sketch) to the first time I drew her. Have I improved? Idrk at this point lol.

I took your suggestion in the panel after and that helped as well and in fairness, I was happy how that turned even art-wise.

I'm just trying to come up with a good pose for a redraw of something I did years ago.

My novel's FL Essence Walker, rocking a new dress I designed. I'm having fun learning to style her body type.

Wanting to start storyboarding, but with Elden Ring DLC just on the horizon, I know I'll just get too distracted to continue working on it.

Instead the next best thing, making a final concept piece/style test (based on a Ch03 scene) to bridge the gap between now and the release of the DLC to scratch that itch

Sometimes you make a doodle using your goofy brain cell instead of your art brain cell.

Hello forums! I just finished this:

"MEDUSA_Z"

A strange glitch occurred in reality, and suddenly, she was there: an unknown specimen, an unstable variant. Hunters far and wide strove to catch her, but none ever succeeded, because she lived in a world of her own; a world where she was untraceable. Long live MEDUSA_Z.

I used black Copic markers in this drawing!

@simonitropunk

I apologize in advance if I offend you with this unwanted draw over. But the hand reaching for the girl is very wonky. I think you could benefit greatly from breaking down the hand into basic shapes.

Use a rounded rectangle for the base of the hand, and draw the fingers from that base.
Also keep in mind that the middle finger is the longest of the 4, followed by the ring finger, then the index finger and finally the pinky.

Another tip I want to give you is that fingers rarely move in wildly opposite directions. I've linked a video that talks about hands in further detail. Something I think might be interesting to you is the "when in doubtie, one finger outie" principle.

Oh thanks a lot for the advice and no, I'm not offended. It's pretty helpful. Will get that fixed.

Admittedly, I do want to improve on my hand drawings. It has gotten better over the years but it's the one of the most things I struggle with. So, thanks a lot.

Haha yeah hands are notorious for being one of the more difficult things to draw.
Glad I could be of some help :relieved:
