@aqua03 Who are these little cuties?

I'm honestly not sure.... I kind of based them off of a bunch of Early 2000's things like the Characters from EYZMAZE's GROW games, these little TV Guys from an old Skechers Commercial, and an unfortunately really obscure Japanese toyline called Pontikis.

I want to make some form of "chill" type of sandbox setting with them sometime in the future for fun, but I'm not really sure how to really go about it in all honesty.

I'm not opposed to shading (obviously), but it honestly looks perfectly fine flat and vibrant. The carefully positioned spaces and silhouette figure catches my attention. Like even if this was all blackI could still identify the figure. Which is not common for artists to pull off.

I'm feeling quite nostalgic today. It might be because Genii's birthday is coming up (27th Nov).

Next year my comic will be as old as Gen is.

Ah, neat. That really means a lot to me to hear and I'm glad that it seems all the hard work I've been putting into refining my art is paying off in producing memorable and dynamic designs.

@Legendofgenii Nice on Genii's 27th Birthday keep up the long years of hard work n commitment (highfive) Check the chubby lil foot! Excellent work and glad you love the logo and key design, yea I keep seeing a lock and key tattooed somewhere on his body.

@migxmeg yep unity is a great tool, studied game design so use it for prototyping ideas but I've always considered rendering my comic there too especially as you can view your final scene lighting while editing. Haven't played SUPERBOT before but wil check the trailer in freetime
that's real awesome to hear ProBuilder was used in the final game.

@nathanKmcwilliams Funny you'd mention Eyeshield 21... I was thinking of giving it a read and husband has given it the highschool jock seal of approval, so... I think I will after the season is over. I have SO MUCH football to watch right now though OMG. And read! Part of the reason I fell so hard for football is because of how much it's about strategy/mind games (I had no idea it was this brainy and I am so in love with the concept of cadence). So I have a stack of books at home on fewtball strategy to try and understand it.

@migxmeg - It helped, I think, yeah. Before I was kind of operating on "key frames" when it comes to the action. Cool shot here, cool shot here. Now I can imagine the whole motion and work it into the movement of the sketch. And I can throw a spiral even as my whole back protests the indignity

Nice. Then you're gonna love Hiruma Yoichi from the series. Guy is a mastermind (he's my favorite, and arguably the most important character, even more than the protagonist)
