Makes sense and thanks for the response! My usual compass - "how would I feel if it was me/my art" (die of flattery on the spot probably, in this case) breaks down because I have no idea what it's like to be an extremely successful professional artist lol.

Now I'm imagining Rip with long, flowing hair heh heh heh >:).

That rocks!!! :sparkles: :guitar: :sparkles: The hair/guitar lining up at the bottom seals the deal :cry_swag:.

I guarantee you that...11 years ago when I drew that, the symmetry was entirely unintentional :joy:

Hahaha - just good sensibility then ;D.

@aqua03 I can feel the floof today :3. :raised_hands: fellow hand bootcamper.

Hopefully we can both lend each other a hand in our quest to draw better hands. :hand_splayed:

(Also, I slipped a very special someone in that crowd of cats. Wonder if anyone can find them.)

beautiful work! Despite the fact that it can be further refined it's already a strong image

First date is going well...

Also, being away from this thread strips me of my “likes” for the day. I felt like the subsequent “out of love” reward was a wee bit passive aggressive on Tapas’ part, suggesting I should be more choosy with what I like. I like this thread. I like all of you. I choose you, Sketch a Day threaders. What do you call members of a thread, anyhow? Tread strings? A spool? Bobbin?

Artemis, may I please have my heart back? That is a winning smile right there.

Good question re: thread members .

I love the bottom pose!

Really affectionate moment. Great expressions.

Very nice work. Reminds me of Megaman/Rockman

I have never been able to draw good hair. That's why my avatar's bald, even though IRL I have hair beyond my shoulders.

But I love to look at well-drawn hair. Something about beautiful, well done hair is just pleasing to the eye.

@Enigma_the_Slimy_Boi Yeah, I don't know what it is - something about flexibility and motion that some artists can get from it is magical to me. Shaved head gives some super cool vibes in my opinion! I confirmed every day that I can't properly draw a shaved head because I draw all my characters bald before adding a hair layer and they always look really really wrong lol :blank:.

Chatting with Mig about the next project again which means my mind is on oc design. Little break from freephotomuscle today :).

The biggest problem with drawing a bald head is always just proportions, it's a really tough thing to get right since it's basically just a half circle.

Ugh so there's nowhere to hide the fact that I'm sloppy, haha!!! :supicious_stache: That settles it - need a bald oc in the rotation for practice if nothing else.

Nana Yaga. She's a no nonsense eighty-something healer/mystic who Gen will meet soon.

Need to practising drawing her. I want to give her more accessories, but I don't know if that would be a pain to draw over and over.

The worst part about lots of accessories is when you forget some of them and then realize it when you're coloring :cry_02:. But they look cool...

That's a super awesome headpiece!!

Weapons... I always forget the weapons. :smile_01:

Thank you.
