Thank you! I LOVE Disney expression sheets. It's nice to take a moment and really see what makes their characters so appealing (via shapes/proportions). I think I'm going to just make expression sheets for the next month so I can improve the comic).

Decided to just go with flats after experimenting with just pencil

@Black_Conscious yeah it's such a fun anime!! The anime only covers the very beginning of the story though - the manga is even better because there's so much more . Hope you're enjoying Bleach!

@Chita thank you! Surpassing my imagination and these are great in general 🥰

@Enigma_the_Slimy_Boi idea and execution both :sparkles:

@DanielRKM Jin Kim is such a god. The Kristoff sketches for Frozen are also well worth a look really anything he's done.

On it! Thanks for the new rabbit hole! (I swear, I'm not going to be making rabbit puns for the rest of my life... God, what a terrible fate that would be).

Oh Man! I had no idea Jin Kim was responsible for giving me so much life! Thanks for pointing me to him. One google search and BOOM, inspiration for the longterm.

Haha yes to the bunny puns ️. And beyond thrilled to point you to Jin Kim (appreciate the reminder to look at his character sheets too - it's been half a year maybe, wonder what new things I can see)!

Ended up doing some reading/appreciation for core formed glass this morning - so cool! If I knew how long we will be hanging out in Abi's room I might model some in Blender but since I don't, did a study of one for today's sketch and will use something simpler for the comic.

Edit for any other ancient craft-curious: this one is based on this perfume bottle2 and if you want to see how they made this stuff here's a very short video.

Oof, mah boiiiii :heart_02:

@migxmeg wow that's some great rendering, I thought it was a photo :blank: the bright blue highlights look especially nice

Ooo thanks! Love the occasional material study to try to crack what makes it look like glass

@migxmeg Wow, I love it!! I really thought it was a picture at first. The scratches and tiny drops of paint splashed around make it so realistic!!
@Kelheor I'm so in love with that tiny highlight in the eye :coffee_love:

@GingerLoge Follow your dreams!! that is ambitious, you got it.

@Kelheor the pencils look so good 🤩 I have to wonder if you plan those zig zags of lines down their face or if it happens naturally from your intuition. Looks :fire:.

@Chita yay, thank you!!

@mostpowerfrog yay, thank you for joining us!! Your oc looks so cool and I adore the mid tone color blocks/your style in general .

@nathanKmcwilliams awwww someday when I am home again on a Friday I'll ask for something wild :innocent:.

Dang! You have a lot of great shapes going on here. There's a crap-ton of appeal in this one.

Thanks! Fubuki's always quite fun to draw with how pointy she is. I'm also digging the direction I'm going with the feet and boots as well. Trying to do the traditional ninja Tabi type shoe, but with a sci fi twist on them.

I'm new to the forum but I'd thought I'd share some art! I've really enjoyed seeing everyone's sketches in this thread.
Here's a super messy sketch I'm working on for the cover of my comic project. Hopefully I'll be able to complete it this weekend ^^

Me too, me too. I still want to learn it someday, but the strings hurt my fingers xD

Thanks! I'm digging the "Sci-Fi Tabi" look they have as well. I just need to find a better color for them because the dark blue isn't quite doing it for me for some reason....
