Me too, that´s why I have to repeat this now.
I figured out that I always come to the point where I need the knowledge about the bones.
The motivating thing is that I get the feeling of getting better at figure drawing through the studies

I’ve been slacking (working) a lot lately, but managed to sit down and draw tonight.

Back muscles have always been my weakness, haha. Looks good though. Are you doing the Proko lessons? I learned a ton from his stuff.

Yeah they are so weird and subtle and super variable . Thank you - yep it's Proko, started last November... Points for perseverance? It has felt valuable at least.

And for sure as far as art threads on the forum I think this one is fairly interactive . I get a lot of joy and motivation following everyone's work and growth here even in periods when I'm not posting/commenting as much. So yeah folks check out stuff here when you post artwork .

They really are, and when you're making more muscular bodies I feel like it's a lot harder to ensure anatomy is right (and a lot more noticeable if it isn't). I do think of all the lessons I've gone over and all the books I've been through, Proko's stuff is undoubtedly the very best. His pro classes are genuinely worth it imo.

@candiedcotton even with skinny characters... well and I don't write my comic or know what will happen so I want to be more prepared next time my writer makes everyone take their clothes off or introduces super muscular shirtless characters (I swear I felt like I was going off the deep end trying to make that work). You tried the premium version, eh? I have such a hard time biting the bullet on that but could probably be sold on it with the right recommendation given how much time I'm spending on this...

I really can recommend to buy the Proko pro course @migxmeg
it´s really satisfying to watch because it is so accurate and doesn´t leave any
questions open. Like @candiedcotton wrote his stuff is undoubtedly the best.
I bought a few other anatomy courses and they have mistakes or leave out important
things

I bought the portrait, anatomy and figure drawing course. I would just buy
the anatomy course. You know all the important stuff about figure drawing
when you watched his free youtube course and there are better courses for
portrait drawing

Absolutely! The anatomy course is also what I got. I've been drawing for over 20 years and I can say without question that my art massively improved upon taking Proko's course, more than it ever had in my entire life of drawing.
