I've officially become too lazy for linework, even though I love nice linework. I guess this is how I'm doing my covers now.
You guys do really lovely sketches though! There's something about sketchy lines that is just so nice to look at, but then I try it and it looks like a mess, lol.

And shoot! I started a sketch, specifically to share with all y'all and I accidentally threw out the pencil layer! I kept the lines though... so there's that. So I saw the Mario movie over the weekend and saw that Alex Hirsch (of Gravity Falls) was thanked... and then I had to make this. When my kid saw it he said "wow, so reference photos do help!"

@l_vi Thank you! It's such a good show. I'm a late in life fan (and it's amazing to me how this show keeps bringing in new generations). It's so well made and has the right air of adventure and mystery. When Grunkle Stan punched a pterodactyl in the eye it instantly won my heart.
