So, I am starting doing commissions, and this was the first piece that I was asked to do!
Have I done a zombie before? Nope. Have I tried a multicolored grungy style of painting before? Neither! But I thougth that that is what was needed for the piece, and went for it. Loved the results, really

So before I ink my pages and digitally tweak em, I sketch em all out on paper! It's really important to my comic to capture that old fashion vibe, my aim is that of old zines.

I wrote a full script yesterday, it´s an old story idea. I´m not 100% sure about
the solution of the story but I´m quite happy with the rest. The next thing I´m
doing is a second draft of the dialogue and I´ll start sketching the panels.

I´m really tired, it was an exhausting weekend but I´m back in my week day routine
and I´m doing 10 sets of 35 pushups now

BTW do you remember the sketch for the single? I published the vinyl record now.
There will be no downloads or cd´s and it´s very limited. It´s kind of a statement
against the trend

Back to drawing my prettiest girl.

Daily warm ups and some face sketches.

I finished the first draft of a comic, I´m doing the second draft now, this will take a couple
of days because dialogue takes some time. I´m also doing one-two minute quick sketches
of facial expressions for every panel.

I probably won't put in the effort to master the soapiness of drawing on glass but the Galaxy Tab is satisfactory for loose drawing.

Took a few days off from drawing as my parents came to visit.

I had this concept kicking around for a bit, but decided to finish it up a couple days ago, when I wanted to do something different/fun.

It's actually super similar to my current pitch (still have a full sitting with two agents and one editor...), but set in the late 30's with some magic instead. So if this current project doesn't pan out, I'm going to try and finish a pitch packet for it and try it instead. Aaand this was done entirely in Procreate so I have a timelapse!
