Buncha half hearted sketches

I’ve been drawing things the way I aesthetically like them for so long, that I forget what my art looks like if I’m not trying to go for a particular look. Trying to go and do a bit more drawings in a way that comes naturally… I love soft curves and I always imitate that look, but I am 100% someone who draws with edges and sharper strokes.

Does anyone else have that problem?

@Mallory I can only envy people who are able to draw with sharp angles xD I am not a particularly good imitator I suppose

Well it feels like I won't be able to do anything for Valentine's, but whatevs. Will try to do some sports tomorrow.

I don´t know how cartoony you want this to be but I always push the pose more to make sure
that keep the energy of the pose. The sketch is good but the poses are not exeggerated imo

More sketches done in whatever feels "natural" to me... IDK what I even want to draw anymore, the only thing I know is that I don't really enjoy drawing art that gets too realistic.

Also it's funny how the addition of a slight chicken butt to a character's hair vastly changes the vibe.

@Kelheor not gonna lie, I'm insanely jealous of your consistency and how you clearly have a vision of how things should look at follow it. Plus your style is super cute, expressive and recognizable. Meanwhile I'm over here being like Bones! No Bones! Big head! Less big head! It's like a miniature identity crisis.
