I read something recently that said it's important to draw your comic characters in situations/poses that have nothing to do with the comic, because it helps keep you from getting burned out! I've been doing that and it really does help. That's what these 3 drawings are~

Monochromatic art: Three Dominican queens

still a WIP

First Galactiquest pic of the year! A Wizard of Oz AU I've had in my head for a while. I definitely took some liberties with the designs (most notably Lorenzo as Oz. He needs his sideburns to live. I couldn't make him bald.)

@IndigoShirtProd happy to see you all guys! :coffee_love:

@Leyelle thank you! :blush:

@Lensing besides that it's not bad at all  trying to come back to social media places too. Unfortunately it looks like most of my followers don't see me anymore, but that's what you get for being offline for two years

A sketch I’m planning to make into a digital painting!

It’s Elsa drawing time which means some weird stuff is happening again. Yay.

Today I'm tracing photos of hands, breaking them down, and trying to figure out where my own drawings of them keep going off the rails.

I think I got a couple of bad habits pinpointed... but "seeing it" and "not doing it" are two different things.

The radius and ulna bone with the connection to the humerus
is one of the most fascniating part of the skeleton for me

Good ole Tintin who is called Tim in german,
the dog is called Struppi

finally finished this panel (more or less, it needs a few touch ups)

Portfolio day crashed my soul as usual. Ugh. Glad it's like half a year before the next one, so my morale can claw its way a bit from this pit.

My back is getting better slowly, and I try to not overwork it. Got a bunch of art books and will try my best to read them now! :sip:

I really love to do like, colored concept sketches for my works! Believe it or not this is not finished, Its super messy compared to my completed pieces for my comics. but, however I really like to get a general vibe/ mood for my scenes. So here is a scene I thought about and doodled for my comic Space Paternity <3

Hey @DasIstWunderblyat  haha yeah, unlike most places this forum doesn't require me to jump through vpn hoops, so I decided to visit

Finished my latest episode for my silly little “The Butter Bee Chronicles”!!! >:} I wish I could stay more focused, I wonder if anyone else struggles to just start working on things. Once I start, it actually doesn’t take that much time but omg it’s impossible to start sometimes :sob: brain woes… but still I did it!!! also I’m pretty proud of my derpy mspaint drawings

I'm suffering from the same thing, honey. the struggle is real TT

Someone on Bluesky asked me who Roxie's favorite crewmate is. She doesn't have one, but I felt like that would be a cop out answer, so I drew this.

I also sketched some characters' families over the past week.

New sketch I might turn into an illustration if I ever get around to finishing it

Sketched out a redraw of an old cover. Might fix it up and finish it because I need to update the cover

Decided to start with finishing some sketches from the last couple of years
The amount of unfinished stuff is tearing me apart, but I am taking on the path to finish at least some of them

You know what I am tired of? Considering myself subpar. Sosososoosososososooo very tired. Now let me change it.

working on some new prints for this year's expo line up. here's a WIP of something cuuuuute

okay, feels like i'm spamming, but I am trash at keeping up with posting whenever i get done with drawings. So this is part of another doodle page I did months ago.
this is burgergirl. it will maybe be a sticker?

Okay I am taking one step back to consider how my social media should look like? I am not excited with my Insta page... I am not exactly sure what I can do and how I should approach it, but I guess whatever I put on social media better have a particular look to it. Obviously I can't do a full rendered art every day, but I still need to put some thought in this.

hooooo boyyyyy

I think if you are to stay on IG but you want some "cleanup" or a new look, maybe keep the line art and sketches or any black and white stuff to stories? That way, you can post multiples in a day whether they're unfinished or not. (Then you can organize them into those little thingies on your profile in case anyone wants to see the drawings again and flip through them.) I think more people check out stories and reels than actual profile pages on IG nowadays, though. What are your views on that?

imho, IG isn't the way to go--it may have been years ago, like between 2013-2016. I think you'll see greater strength in sharing your works elsewhere, like on Cara or Bluesky or uhhhh something else. But that is merely my opinion! If you already have a following/audience going on IG, then it is understandable to want to keep that and keep people interested.
