The Sketch a Day Thread!

[abigaillmartin]

You cloned me dude! LOL!!

I’m laughing my butt off!! 🤣

It’s a mirror image lol!

[abigaillmartin]

Unfortunately my ex boyfriend didn’t look like that but he did wear glasses.

[PeteLensing]

My subconscious is going crazy, i sketched her without even looking at a reference
picture. I even thought about her bringing a book about Houdini lol

[abigaillmartin]

My mind is blown man! I am literally stunned! It’s literally me! 🤣🤣🤣

[abigaillmartin]

You: “This lady looks like she’d like Houdini.”
(Proceeds to draw the biggest Houdini fan of the 21st century without reference)
My mind is still blown! 🤣

[EncryptedWriting]

Need a few tweaks and finalize the hair but almost ready for colors. Gonna redo a little bit of the legs when my ipad isnt dead lol.

[KevinReijnders]

Muppet Zack is finally getting finished!

[PeteLensing]

See you guys on Discord whenever the forum goes down!

Finally getting around to watching the rest of MHA - quick appreciation for the hairstyle of Aizawa. Considering something like Hairtober just for fun.

[Kelheor]

I made our server a picture to honor this thread, I suppose
Wow. Almost 20000 posts here...

@migxmeg ohhhhh hairtober sounds fun xD
....OMG IT'S OCTOBER ALREADY

[Kelheor]

My back hurts, but I hit 1000 subs on Telegram after a couple of years, so that's a pic for this ^^

[migxmeg]

Sorata Akiduki's Shirayuki (taking these prompts loosely)

I had quite a moment there with adjusting to the fact that I couldn't resize/erase once I got to the pen. But actually it felt very free to do some pen on paper!

[migxmeg]

The little tapas dog will live it's perfect. So glad I came back before the forum disappeared :(.

Hope your back will feel better soon!

[vapidink]

Very quick doodle of Aster for OC-tober 2026 Day 1: fav. character. I'm gonna miss this place, it's really made me improve my art.

[migxmeg]

@vapidink same. Even when I haven't had time these past few years it always gave me a boost to check out what everyone was making. Of course nothing lasts forever and hope to stay in touch with folks but it's so sad to think the old thread itself won't be here.

Also going to miss peeking back at the beginning too from time to time . I'm over the cringing lol it's fun to remember how scary drawing hands felt. And how awesome it was as a new comic artist to come across such a welcoming group.

[MerrowBros]

Dang, the shutdown news has got me feeling all nostalgic. This thread was a big motivation for me a few years ago (in 2021, I posted more drawings here than there were days in that year. Still don't know how I managed not to burn out back then, honestly). Kinda regret not interacting with all the cool artists on here more, but... life be like that sometimes.

Also, new doodles

[migxmeg]

For "relic" went with Hiromu Arakawa's Right.

The pencil sketch since this is a sketch thread XD remembered to take a picture this time.

Consistency with this sort of thing seems far-fetched but two days is better than no days!

[wolflu66]

Here's a sketch of a fanart piece I'm working on. It's the protagonist, Okko, from the game 'Okko The Exiled'.
