This might be a bit of a long answer but I hope it helps!
Good:
- Really like the concept.
- Really cute format of it feeling like a tv-show
- I like that there's a recommendation and small summary for a comic people can check out! I actually subscribed to the comic you promoted cause I thought it sounded interesting.
- Also great idea with a guest artist who helps out with the news. It makes it feel like "The Tapas Times" is actually engaging with the community.
- Also really like that you drew the flying limbs around when you were promoting Dick La Brapa! Good detail.
- The Newscaster's design is super cute
Needs some work:
- The text in the speech bubbles should have a bit more room around them, it feels very squeezed in. I also suggest when you make two speech bubbles attached that you don't have a line seperating them. I did a small edit in MS Paint so you can see what I mean. (sorry it's a bit shitty)
A bit of a minor thing but remember to capitalize the first letter of a sentence and after symbols like "." "!" "?" and so on c:
Even though I like the idea with talking about topics from the art community as a whole, I think when you mentioned D'angelo Wallace's video you should have elaborated a bit more on what his video was about and some of the topics he raised in it. It felt a bit rushed and not as important since it didn't get enough "screen time" for me to be able to understand why the news story is important.
When you listed the issues in the second episode half of them are unreadable since they're in black and put on top of the newscaster so as before, it seems not as important and like something you should just skim through.
I think because of the colour choice for the newscaster and the font for Tapas Times, it might be a good idea to remove the blue background. It's a very saturated blue and (imo) a bit hard on the eyes which makes it harder to focus on the text and the drawings you've made. It basically makes everything look much much darker than it should be. A white background would work just fine in my opinion but if you really want a blue one I'd suggest a less saturated one c:
