Hi there, Not an interested artist but just a suggestion. If you have any examples of your own writing or comics you've made before, I think it will help to link some of it here, just for the potential artists who might want to contact you get a feel for your writing style and what you've made  Be…

I have a GL comic! Updates every tuesday <3

I think it would be good for you to vary your shadow colours a bit more in "well lit" scenes. In the last panel all the shadows seem to be the base colour in a darker hue which is why it may look "Boring" to you. In your first two panels the shadows are more purple and it fits really well with th…

Hi this sounds like an interesting project, are you looking for coloured or B&W pages? Also what will the comic be used for? I.e sold at conventions, published online etc.

[image] I really like making shiny tears. Mostly what I go for as others have pointed out is to have them stand out a bit from the skin. I think highlights on the teardrops are good, also make sure they mostly fall from the inside or outer side corner of the eye. Drawing thinner trails and drops f…

Absolutely loath unsatisfying endings. Best example I have is my (former) favourite zombie manga "I am a hero". Such a well written main character and in general had some really good story to it. And then in the last arc they decided to churn it through the garbage disposal and feed the readers the …

Hello Iori, I'm definitely interested. I sent you a request on discord, my discord tag is Ironicsuperhero#0463

I agree with Maps. Mangas like One Punch Man has a good variety of fight scenes with different styles. You can also look at clips from action movies with long cut fight scenes and take some screenshots from that if you wanna practice.

[image] My character's are in their 20's. I don't really have a set age for them though but one of them is in college/university.

This might be a bit of a long answer but I hope it helps! Good: Really like the concept. Really cute format of it feeling like a tv-show I like that there's a recommendation and small summary for a comic people can check out! I actually subscribed to the comic you promoted cause I thought it s…

Super awesome! Thanks for the quick response

If you want to contribute with sticker designs or anything extra is that discussed with the artists when everyone has been selected or can we write somewhere in our pitch that we might want to do that?

Hi just a question! I understand that the finished product has to be a normal comic page but for the application is it okay to submit a scroll format page as an example?

Despite the designs being quite simple I still struggle with drawing the two main girls in my comic so they look consistent enough (or maybe I'm being too perfectionistic) Charli is usually the hardest one (pictured) since I want her eyes to be a bit slimmer and more "square" compared to the other …

Thank you for wanting to check it out! And yes it is indeed based on the hanahaki disease, I've tried to incorporate a lot of flower symbolism in it so glad to hear there are others as into it as I am lol :eyes: <3

Hi there and welcome to the forum! I really like GL too so much that I made one myself :joy: It updates every tuesday! <3

[image] Turned one of my mains into a flowerpot as you can see.

I mostly have done smaller time commissions but for bigger jobs I think it's a good idea to ask them what their budget is and potentially what they had imagined it would cost. You can always haggle the price with them but if you had a price in mind first and they give you a bigger one then you know…

Since webtoons allows for 2 genres I was able to put it in both Romance and Drama since that's what it's all about lolol  Wish tapas had the option for more but alas, maybe one day. (or maybe one day make a GL genre Tapas I'm begging you)

I don't use any templates but I use Clip Studio Paint for my coloured comics too and it works wonderfully, tbh with so many free assets, all its rulers etc etc etc, it's an amazing program to make comics in. I don't see a reason to switch over if you already have it c: The only thing I know is that…

I think you should specify in your description or the topic title whether this is paid work or not :ok_hand: Hope you find someone!

I guess for me an iconic comic would be I love you bambette since it's one of the first ones I read on here and it's still on a lot of their promo stuff and ads even though it's finished  still a super good read and adorable art style!

I've read a couple of your chapters now so here's some input: Thumbnail: I know your art style is changing and I checked out your latest episode too, but I will say it feels like your thumbnail doesn't quite reflect exactly how good looking your art is! So definitely try and look into if you can m…

I post 2 pages a week and my buffer is about 11 pages ahead so about a month. I'd like to make it even bigger if I can manage to haha.

Since I've started up my first story driven comic I wanted to make it a short one and so it is. But then I've been overthinking whether or not people would think it's too fast paced for their liking even though it's supposed to be "short" :,) Also backgrounds are my number 1 enemy.

@skicoak if all your subs are just dead subs then even if you unlock tipping no one is going to be tipping your comic if they don't care about it. That's why promoting and getting organic following instead is much better because people subscribed because they were interested in your comic. You might…
