I've just fulfilled my child's dream.
Good knows when - 15-20 years ago or so, when i was a kid - I've seen the watch of my uncle diver. They had several dials - for stop clock, for altitude/deepness (if are used under the water) and also a small windows with date, week day, and something else which I don't remember. Also they had several cool buttons and glowed in the dark with beautiful cyan light.
I loved them so much that I asked parents to buy me such a clocks, too. Of course, they didn't, because such a watches were very expensive those times. And of course, they also started to convince me, that i don't need them. First of all, they said that it's men watches, so I can't wear it. Of course, I started to ask, why men can wear such a watches, and I can't. They said that it's because such a watches don't suit girls and I would look funny with them, so everyone would laugh at me. Also they said that I'll not use their features and will loose or crush them anyway.
I was upset for a several days, but then forgot about this for a long time. But recently, when, after receiving a salary, I was choosing a smart watch, I've seen a smart watch with very similar design, screen theme and some similar (and even more!) features. So I've remembered how much i loved those watches which I've seen when i was small. I've checked technical details of these watches, ensured, that besides of nostalgic design, they suits my purposes as well, and bought them.
Their major drawback - comparing to those old analog watches - is that they're not purposed for diving deeper, than a couple of meters, but since i don't really dive, i don't care as well. But instead they have a digital screen, gps, pulsometer, accelerometer, and, of course, can launch many applications and show notifications from phone. So I'm glad to have them very much.
