So the gist of The Vince Colletta Solution goes like this...
Collette was an American inker on a bunch of famous Marvel Comics. Not the greatest inker for superhero books. The techniques he developed doing romance books weren't really great for inking over greats like Jack Kirby but he was a guy with a reputation for being quick. If a book was running late, they gave it to him...in the industry it was known as The Vince Colletta Solution.
It wasn't until decades later the public found out why he was "quick".


Dude was just erasing stuff he didn't want to ink, filling textured areas with flat blacks...in general ruining everything the penciller had intended.
So...the question is...How often do you Vince Colletta your own work? Or Colletta someone else's script when you draw it?
