Forgot to do a post concert (Saturday) update.
It was an amazing show, each band blasted my face off in different ways.
In Flames sounds so much more aggressive live. And Lamb of God was much heavier on stage than they ever were on an album. And Megadeth... Megadeth was perfect. Kiko is twice the guitarist Friedman was, and his takes on the solos from all the hits like Sweating Bullets, Symphony of Destruction, and Holy Wars were smooth like butter. And they even played stuff from 2016's Dystopia, which I was hoping they would, that album doesn't get any credit, and I say it's equally on par with Countdown to Extension, and the title track is as impressive as Holy Wars. Which is saying a lot, but dang.
All in all, it was a fantastic time. I do wish that I had spent a little more for the Mosh Pit tickets so we could have been down front. During the LoG set, the circle pit was going off.
