Left one is Oreb one day after I found them. Right one is Pallas just recovered from the street. It was Tuesday, July 7th.
As you can see, Oreb was in pretty bad shape.
Pallas was quite fine, though. Was even eating!
They became friends very soon.
As of yesterday, Oreb was way more active and started to annoy Pallas all the time. Just playfully cute.
They are stubborn little fellows, though, and do not want to eat their food. I gently force them to eat juicy nutritive crickets after showing them how a good swift should behave on an improvised home cinema.
They spend the day cleaning each other feathers... and watching their father curiously.
Oreb says "good bird".

Swifts are nice creatures, protected by many countries laws, that completely finish off mosquito plagues. They spend their entire lifetimes flying, but until they learn how to, they must stay in the nest. If they fall off due to storms or very hot temperatures, they are sentenced to die on the street. That's why it is extremely important that YOU take them home, take care of them or take them to a bird recovery center.
They are fascinating creatures, and will be sharing more facts in this thread.
