I reached 50 subscribers today! And I've been consistently positing every Thursday with a new episode

congrats! consistency can be hard to manage, so mad respect to you

In 2024, I created 100 manga episodes.
The length of each episode varies,
but I managed to compile them into two volumes and publish them on Amazon.com KDP.

I also discovered Tapas and began uploading two episodes a week.
Through Tapas, I’ve encountered so many amazing manga,
and now, while drawing my own work every day, I enjoy reading all of yours.

My English comprehension has also improved a bit along the way.

Thank you all for your inspiration and support!

For a moment my novel had rank 2 in Community / Romance category

I don't think it has very high requirements to get there, though. Just enough views for a day, and Romance category is not that huge. But still it is something to be happy about

I think the romance category is pretty big actually. romance is a popular genre

I think fantasy romance is quite popular, but plain old romance maybe not so much. But actually I don't know, but I like both ;D

I just got another poem except for publication!

lol kinda miss this thread. I’m leaving a post bump in case anyone is interested to n sharing their latest achievements.

1 month later

I got an honorable mention for the "L Ron Hubbard Writers and Illustrators of the Future" competition. Hopefully if I keep practicing i'll actually win sometimes soonish

Congratulations! It seems we’ll be seeing your work on display in bookstores soon. Keep going! 🥳@Leyelle

hah, hopefully, but soon is relative

Congratulations @Leyelle!

I don't have anything major, but over the last couple weeks I've written so much more than I usually do. One of my stories is now fully plotted and 75% drafted for arc / volume 1, and most of volume 2 is plotted as well. I have never had so much prepared in advance for an active story before - on my current update schedule, I'm set until August. And somehow having the pressure off is making it easier to write, at least right now.

A smaller thing - I started using scrivener for writing and I finally got some models (simple wooden adjustable body & hand figurines) to try and improve my limited drawing skills.

Its just nice when there's a bit of momentum, you know? I'm gonna try to enjoy it while it lasts.

Congratulations! That's awesome! Hope you win soon!

My comic was first in my genre for the first time last week!
