Hi guys. I hope it isn't impolite of me to resurrect this seemingly dead thread.... I also hope this isn't poor taste thing to ask for advice on our Webtoons thumbnail. I actually didn't notice that Tapas was another webcomic type site until I went to reply to this one. Would you guys recommend posting on both Tapas and Webtoons? If so I would consider cross-posting it on both, I honestly just didn't know anything about Tapas, so feel free to educate me!
Our comic name Chaotic Evil if you want to go find it on Webtoons, and if you guys think it's worth it to post it in two places we'll definitely pop it up here on Tapas as well! This started as a practice comic so we could improve before starting more near and dear to our heart kind of ideas, which is why we chose a genre that would be more gag heavy and less long term story focused. Also since both my partner and I do all the art and writing steps interchangably, it gives us practice trying to be consistent with each other. Of course now we have grown more attached to it than we were in the beginning and the character apearences have already changed slightly, so we were thinking the thumbnail needed an update.
Our Thumbnail
The Aim
Genre: Fantasy / Comedy
Impression of a funny adventure comic about two evil galpals and their misadventures (which are usually more silly in theme).
Our comic is very gag heavy, but the characters are meant to have a lot of personality. Despite being a gag comic, it is still linear. Mainly, it is linear with small storylines, and occasionally ones with multiple parts, but no large overarching story.
I don't want to just take advice and go, so I'll be sticking around to help with anyone new that will post because of my revival. Not that my advice will be particularly great but I will try! Lol
