Not sure. I'll see what I can do...the 20th-21st is gonna be busy for me with the RL job. Also lately the app has been crapping out...

Excited! I'll have to renew my tipping rewards with the new system in mind...

@staff Hey guys, loving the new message function on the support page! Is there any possibility you could make it so us creators can scroll further back in the messages? (preferrably so we can scroll back through all of them) I was planning to wait until I had time to reply to several of mine in one go since they gather up quite fast for us bigger creators, but then I noticed I couldn't read ones past a certain point. This gets especially tricky considering some people that use the support function will just tip a small coin amount several times with no message, thus filling up the readable message slots in one session and pushing away old messages.

I encountered the same problem. 'see more messages' works fine. But 'see all messages' bugs out. But for me it solved when I refreshed the page and then waited 10 seconds. (I use firefox)

Thanks for bringing this event back <3

If we're making an inksgiving comic, can we use one or two of the official images in it? =)

I don't care that much for tipping but, in all honesty, how come some creators that have less than 100 subs get the tipping support out of nowhere when people striving with their comics for , let's say, 6 months and has more than 150 subs can't even get that kind of support, at all ?

Sounds pretty much like 2 speed, 2 lanes, class inequality policy to me.

Right now as part of the Inksgiving event, Tapas is doing a thing where you can send an email to them and they will activate support for your account (even if you don't have 250 subscribers). I believe everyone who got tipping before meeting the subscriber threshold did so because of events like this one.

You can send an email to michaelson@tapasmedia.co and they should activate it anywhere from instantly to within a couple of business days (depending on how busy they are, it seems like they have to do this stuff manually).

I remember i have already done that last year, and it didn't work.

What @A_Toad said. =) Also when tipping was first introduced, there was no subscriber limit, the only rules were: Have an active comic with regular updates and - I think - at least one chapter =)

The 250 subs limit was implemented a few months later on.

That's unfortunate. It could have just been some kind of error or mistake. In any case, there's no harm in trying again this year

Worst-case scenario nothing happens. And if it doesn't work again you can probably get in touch with Tapas by tagging @ staff here on the forum. I've been here only a few months so I don't know how it was back then, but in my experience so far they've been pretty responsive.

I think that should be fine in order to advertise the event.
I doubt Tapas will mind that (I mean, it’s in their interest too )

That's what I thought too, @bear1, but better safe than sorry, right?

Aaaaanyhow, gotta draw now <3 Thanky for the answer! <3

Hey there!

“See all” on the Messages section of your dashboard’s Support tab should show you the full list of all support activity/messages, and there should be a filter to only show those messages that have not been replied to yet.

From this thread it sounds like there may be a bug or some cases where it doesn’t work as intended, in which case we’ll investigate and fix it as soon as we can!

We’re also working on some other improvements that didn’t make it into the first release, such as being able to set a goal, notifications, and in-app replying for creators to respond to supporters.

@STAFF

It might just be me being stupid, but I don't get what link we have to send? Is it a link for our creator profile or the story itself that we posted the episode on?
Also is it true that for inksgiving support can be unlocked by emailing you guys??
This event is totally new, so gimme all the info you got...

You can link to individual episodes - if you notice while scrolling through multiple episodes of a series, the URL changes according to which episode you're on. Example - https://tapas.io/episode/12235111

About unlocking support by emailing them, I know it's true because it worked for me (and several others I know of here). Send the email to michaelson@tapasmedia.co

Yeah, basically. I just included a clear headline to let them know what the email's about, said something along the lines of "Hey, I got the newsletter that said I could email you to activate support" and gave them my username and series name (they probably already have that info readily avaliable but I figured just in case).

So it's the series that you posted the event on? Can it be more than 1 series?

I believe the way support works is that it's activated for your account as a whole (i.e. it's not series-specific). I probably didn't need to even give them the name of my series, I just figured it couldn't hurt to provide info that might somehow be relevant.
