Idk if it's just my weird brain, but I kept reading "The Exiled Souls" as "The Exited Souls" By accident xD
Okay, I guess, it’s a concern if it doesn’t read easily. Though ‘exited’ is not even a word? Or is it some modern buzz word?
It's the past tense for 'exit'
"They exited the building."
Yeah, I get that, but it is not an adjective you expect in this position? Like, I could see mixing it up with exalted but I doubt it is used a lot...
An unusual one, but I still think it could work in this situation. Especially if you look at how 'Exited' is a synonym for 'Departed'
Might just be how I read things, but my brain just was like "Oh, so the souls yeeted out of there", which isn't what you're going for, I would imagine, and thus just thought I would mention it, in case I wasn't the only one... xD
It’s a good point. Thankfully, it is a fairly close meaning
@WillowTree yeah, I was thinking maybe, because English does form adjectives that way sometimes...
It sounds like Souls in Exile read clearer so might be why it leads
Definitely Souls In Exile! Catchy and to the point.
Thank you! <20characterstobindthemall>
I like Souls in Exile. It's an attention grabber IMO.
I'm a bit late to this, but I think if you take the "the" off the potential titles it packs a bigger punch!
Exiled Souls sounds badass to me Just a thought!
No, you are not late by any means! I appreciate your suggestion
All are nice, but i'd cut the "The"'s from the title. Exiled Souls alone sounds more interesting in my opinion. Also will make them easier to find in a list of titles.
Thank you. Honestly, I can never figure out when you need an article in the title and when you don’t.
Like, why is it The Hedge Knight, A Game of Thrones, but Last Argument of Kings?
