In Japanese, a short reading of "801" can be reading 8 as "ya," 0 as a western influenced "o" and 1 as "i." So, the "yaoi" numeric sequence has become otaku shorthand for the genre of male romance media and, following that logic, in countries that list the date month-day, August 1st is yaoi day!

(from Crunchyroll website, needed some explanation why mangagamer and jast blue were having a "yaoi day sale" today :P)

So, yeah, if you're posting any BL works here, show them off (personally gonna check whatever catches my eye)

Oh wait, being interested in BL since I was 15 how come I never knew there actually was a Yaoi day but then I always find out about stuff much later than others

Anyways Happy Yaoi day then.

It's going to be a whole year since I started posting my first and only BL series here on Tapas.
It's a slow-burn romance about two complete opposites.

Thank you so much. My BL novel that has a few chapters left to finish. It tells the life of four young people, from when they are children to their adulthood, with different concepts of life and their future. With plot twists and I hope realistic.
