As the title says, I need to borrow your brain for a second. I draw concepts for my comic sometimes and I was drawing some demons today that appear in it called Overlords. They are very diverse:

I'm not the best when it comes to inspiration for them though, I usually just pick some elemental things or weapons/animal features. And that's where I ask your help! Just toss me some simple ideas!

You could theoretically also post your oc, but chances are high that the resulting Overlord looks almost nothing like them and I may just end up integrating certain aspects from them.

A demonic walrus beast might be kinda neat o 3o Or a Rhino? idk. Or maybe both in 1 (walrus tusks + rhino nose horns???)

Thanks for the input everyone! I'll probably mix or just use the ideas you all gave me.
I forgot to add this, but they are quite large, the average Overlord is about 10 meters tall (or 32/33 feet)

Speaking of fish, deep sea fish could work. At least as a head for the overlord.

Or you can get inspiration from mythical creatures like cyclop, manticore, cerberus... If they're big, kaiju movies monsters also might work, but be careful with the amount of inspiration here. xD

@Enigma_the_Slimy_Boi (and imma tag @aqua03 here because it's a thing for Boreas in the rp as well, hitting two birds with one stone) here you go! I'll name it Hoarfrost.

Lore time: Hoarfrost is a overlord who inhabits the cold tundras and seas of the north. It's skin is coated in thin layers of extremely durable ice said to be near inpenetrable. The ice can melt however, which is why it stays north. It hunts down prey with its massive forearms and chomps them with its large jaws.

Explorers tend to at least have fire spells/weapons or torches to fend off Hoarfrost when exploring the north.

Piggy packing off of the myth angle, why not try and smash a lot of creatures together? Medusa had snakes for hair, Centurs are a combo of people and horses, and Chimera's are just a mix of crazy things. I can see that your Overlords have a real metal and flame vibe, as well as being draconic/dino shaped (with possibily a little goat in there for good measure?) You could keep those elements to make it your own.

I'd also recommend looking at myths from locations that are similar to where your creatures would inhabit. Eg, looking at polynesian legend for creatures who inhabit volcanoes.

Random Idea
What about an aquatic Overload, like a mermaid, but half fish (maybe octopus or shark), half skeleton with electric eels for hair?
