I'm actually on the boundary between the two currently. The comic that I'm drawing currently uses traditional inks and digital coloring, because earlier this year when I was getting started on it I had 0 confidence in my digital inking skills, so it was faster and looked better to just ink traditionally.
However fast forward a year, I've improved my digital inking skills a lot and now find myself wishing I was inking digitally to save time. As is, it's faster to resize and tweak the sketch digitally, don't have to erase after inking, don't have to scan, don't have to get rid of the white around the lines, don't have to worry about eraser residue from the scan, etc. I'm committed to finishing this project with the traditional inks but I'll def be moving to all digital for the next one!
That said I still do love working in traditional mediums. I'll still be busting out my inks for illustrations and stuff. But as far as something like a comic goes, that requires super fast, super efficient work... I think a lot of time can be saved with digital xD
