Basically what the title is. I wanted to know people views on some tropes because why not. I hate the 'not like the other girls trope' because it always leads to calling girls that wears make up and dresses 'bimbos' when there nothing wrong with that. Also the 'girlboss' strong fl lead annoys me because that mean they 'can't be girly'.

I actually love the girl boss trope, because IMAO there are SO many different kinds of women that can be defined as a girl boss. My FL isn't a girl boss, but her best friend's mother (who loves the FL to death) is. But that doesn't mean she's not feminine. She's actually known for her painted nails, because she loves pretty things. And she's not impenetrably tough either, in fact the first scene we see her in, she is weeping inconsolably in the emergency room.

I also include the friends to lovers trope in the novel.

It sort of has a lot of tropes but they are all altered in the story. Evil queen, meek damsel, Prince etc
