I honestly should be working on my current comic but I got so bored by the simplistic style that I choose for it. SO BORED.

Now I worked on some short tryout of stories that I will draw when finished with the current project.

Wanted to know if they are nice and fitting to the genre. Do they look appealing to you?
Here we go.

First is from Grades Hope. The main couple in the short strip is basicly all the time strugling with all sorts of problems. The comic focuses on their complicated relationship and the adventure they encounter trying to safe the world.
I always make it sound nice and cute, but the actual plot is pretty heavy and dark. (Fantasy/War)

The second is "The two lifes of Mary Williams"
Another projekt that is very dear to me. It´s about a woman in her tweenties with amnesia, that tries under servere circumstances to raise her son and also to not remember her past.
When she starts getting approached and attaked on the street by total strangers, she decides it is time to uncover the past.
What she finds is bitter sweet and heartbraking and terifying. (Romance/Slice of Life/Mystery)
Would say pretty dam sad ...
Thsi would be the start of it:

Thanks for bearing for me.

I say go for it, both of the stories sounds so good and interesting. What I love about the two comic is that they're different yet similar. Grades Hope have less colors and less shading, etc but it stands out because I feel like you're focusing more on the characters and their lives.

While for "The Two Lifes of Mary Williams" have more details, colors, shading and more blending. It makes it feel more realistic and will be more emotional because of all the colors and and the surrounding. And when it comes to the sad part, I'm sure your readers will have their hearts broken .

What they have in common are the feels, the drama and the struggles that each person have to go to. Even though they're different stories, they have a connection because of the hardness they have in life. Sorry if this made no sense. I just feel like the characters, in both stories, will go through many struggles to find their perfect place where they can fit in.

Sorry I made this more of a review from what I saw in your drawing. But yeah, you should go with the design. I believe they're perfect for the story-line and the meaning behind the story. ^v^ (Sorry, I wrote too much)

Don´t be sorry at all! Thank you so much for your detailed review.
You made me a lot more confident about the art for the stories, and you are indeed right! The charakters have to go trough a lot of hardship to grow as persons and to grow their relationships! Seems like that is a continuous line trough all of my stories.
I started Mary Williams two Lifes1 now. I realized how passionate I was about it and will try to give it my best. You are completly right. If I do what I want to do, it should break some hearts. But also grow them. Ah ha I am excited bout this. Thank you so much blush thumbsup
